"Then they kiss and live happily ever after!" My hands clapped with joy as I sigh at the thought of the romance between the two characters my father wrote about in his new novel. "No, Mary-Anne ends up dying. She has the incurable disease remember? Life doesn't always have happy endings Dakota."

Rolling my eyes I look up at the ceiling and groaned at how he barley gives his characters happy endings. If I was an author they would always have happy endings I tell you!

"Dad this a romance novel and she dies? What the heck is that?!" My father gives me a small chuckle before looking away from his computer and focuses on me.

"I think that this ending is the most romantic ending. Let me read you the end." I sat up straight and closed my eyes to visualize on his words.

"As I sit down on the window she would love to look out, wether it was summer, winter, fall, spring. Even if it was snowing, raining or there was a thunderstorm outside, she would always ponder at the beauty of this world. Mary-Anne saw beauty in everything, even me. Especially me. And though she lived a small life Mary-Anne lived it to the fullest.  And though she had little to remember I shall always remember her, and forever I will love her.

Because Mary-Anne was special to me. She taught me how to love, laugh, and smile. And yes, I will definitely miss her voice, the way her hands felt in mines and how she hugged me. She'll always be in my heart wether it be summer, winter, fall, or spring. Even if there is snow, rain, or a thunderstorm. Mary-Anne to me is true beauty. And she is why I love."

I sigh and slowly opened my eyes and see my father who was smirking giving me that 'how 'bout that huh?' look. My dad is a really good writer. He's probably the reason why I had such an active imagination as a kid.

"That was beautiful. Wow so many teenage girls are gonna hate you when this gets published." My dad let out a small chuckle as he got up for a stretch. His neck cracked, as did his back. I guess that's what you get after sitting down all day and staring at a computer screen.

"Don't you have school to go to?" My eyes widen as did my jaw. I totally forgot! "Crap!" I run out of his office and head up to my room. Since its autumn it's been very cold lately, so I grab my coat and beanie. Putting them on while running downstairs is surprisingly a hard task, that is if you have your backpack.

"I'm off to the highest of school mother and father! I bid you," pause for dramatic effect "A good day!" With the bow I leave and lock the front door. Fiddling with my keys I finally found the ones for my car and open it.

I wish I had a remote, in the unlikely case of a murder trying to kill me at school passed the hours I'm suppose to be there, night time, I need something easy to help me get into my car. Have you seen the scary movies where the person would get away and live if they had a remote control key to their car?
