Chapter 31 ~ Dying
Shinako let the last of the tears fall from her eyes before she wiped them away.
I'll be strong. I need to move on just like I told Akashi to.
She took in a shaky breath and clenched her fists.
Without looking for any vehicles, she crossed the road, determined to keep the tears in.
She turned her head and the last thing she saw was a black BMW before it collided with her, sending her to the ground.
Her head slammed into the ground but her whole body felt numb.
I guess this is what I get for lying to Seijuro, she thought, her vision darkening. I'm dying but still thinking about Sei. Maybe I still do love him.
"Shinako!!"
Is that... Sei?
And then, it was over.
