4:00pm
We scurried down the hall like mice. Rylie Clover in front of me, stopping at the doors of classrooms and gesturing for me to stop - and then we'd take off down the hall again.
Meanwhile, I was going crazy inside. First of all, just how many survivors were there in this building? And secondly, what did Queb mean when he said "the girl that Damien is looking for"?
I'd have to get those questions answered later. For now, I had to follow Rylie.
We ran to the end of the hall and then Rylie stopped at the very last door. A computer lab. She knocked quietly, in a rhythm that wasn't a normal knock.
"Is that some sort of code?" I asked her.
"Morse code for SOS," she replied as the door swung open.
