Ed's POV
"Eh? A date....?" Roy chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, seeing how busy work has been these past weeks, we haven't really taken a day for us." He explained. I placed a hand under my chin as I thought. "Hmmm, sounds interesting. Alright, I'm in. Where are we going?" I asked curiously. "Well, I was thinking later tonight we could go to dinner, and see a movie after. That sound good with you?" I smiled and nodded. "Sounds fun." Roy smiled happily, and snuck a quick hug. "Five sound alright?" He questioned. I gave him a quick peck on the lips, and nodded. "Sounds perfect."

Eventually, Roy and I got off of work. I stretched a bit as we walked. "I'll see ya later Roy." I said, waving to him as he walked off. "Bye Ed." He replied, waving as well. I had to stay back and wait for Al. "Brother!" Al exclaimed. I turned towards him. "Hey, how's the case going?" I questioned as we began walking home. "We've made a little bit of progress." He replied, sighing. I chuckled. "Don't worry Al, I'm sure you'll catch the guy." I said. He nodded and smiled. "On another note Brother, how's the case with Roy going?" Al inquired. "This guy hasn't made any attacks since we spotted him." I grumbled, my shoulders sagging. Al chuckled a bit. "Maybe you scared him off with your scary face brother." He teased. I growled, glaring at him. "What was that, little brother?" I growled. Al just laughed harder. "That's what I'm talking about Ed!" He replied. I glared at him again before huffing and stuffing my hands in my pockets. "Whatever." I grumbled. Al just laughed again. "I'm only teasing Ed." He explained, making me roll my eyes. "Uh-Huh, sure."

Eventually, Roy showed up at the door. "Brother, Roy's here!" Al exclaimed. "Kay, let him in!" I shouted back. I was sitting on my bed, putting my hair in a braid. "Knock knock." Roy stated, knocking on the door frame. I chuckled and smiled a bit. "Gimme a few seconds, just gotta put my hair back." I stated. He nodded. "Alright." He replied. Eventually, I finished and stood up. As I did so, Roy suddenly started to chuckle. I raised an eyebrow. "What's so funny?" I asked. "You just reminded me of something." He replied, stepping towards me. "Hm, what's that?" I questioned. "How adorably small you are compared to me." Roy chuckled, softly kissing me before I could rant. I growled once we pulled apart. "You bastard!" I exclaimed. He laughed. "And that's why it's so funny." Roy explained. I rolled my eyes. "Whatever, let's get going before I change my mind." Roy smiled, enlacing our fingers before walking towards the door with me. "Sounds like a plan then love."
