Edd and Kevin walked across the street at 5:55 in the morning. The Ebony stayed the night at his boyfriends, just so he could force him out of bed, and as expected, he was begrudging.

"Ready?" Edd asked, flashing a nervous gap toothed smile.

"You know it." Kevin winked, opening the door and walking in.

It was much cleaner in the Vincent household V.S. The Barr household. The dishes where done, the furnish matching, the shelves where dusted. It was much, much better.

"Eddward, you didn't inform me you where spending the night at a friends!" His mother came into view. She was pretty, she had a tightly fitted black dress, matching her Ebony hair and heels. She had shiny brown eyes, red lipstick and an intoxicatingly perfume.

"Sorry mother, it was spur of the moment. I didn't to spend the night so I could wake up Kevin Barr, from across the cul-de-sac." Edd explained, gesturing to his boyfriend. He knew that they didn't know he spent the night the day before, and if he wouldn't of came home to speak with his parents, they wouldn't of known today either.

"Yes, very well dear." She murmured, setting her leather purse on the table, pa King herself a lunch.

"Is father home? We where planning on speaking to you both. It's... Important."

"Uh, yeah, he's upstairs, picking out a tie." She rolled her eyes, packing her husband a lunch as well.

"Very good. When your done, may you take a seat at the table?"

She nodded, not seeming to pay much attention to her son.

"Nice seeing you Mrs. Vincent." Kevin spoke up.

"You to Levin." She murmured.

"It's Kevin." He corrected.

"Isn't that what I said?"

Instead of snapping back, he just nodded his head, not catching her attention in the slightest.

The two boys attentions where directed to the stairs as Edds father came down wearing a nice suite and a purple tie; "Father! Your here's! Great! Please, seat yourself at the table, I have extraordinary news!" Edd beamed.

His father murmured a "morning..." Before taking a seat, Edds mother soon joining him. The Ebony and his boyfriend taking a seat next to each other as well.

"Mother... Fathe-"

"Will this take long boy?" His father impatiently interrupted.

"No. I don't believe it will." Edd waited a moment before continuing; "Mother, father, this is Kevin, he lives across the cul-de-sac, he attends my school, and we've been spendin-" Edd was interrupted by his father; "Lois, the boys gay."

Kevin and Edd shared a look before Kevin started to speak softly, nervous; "Well, your actually correct... And... We're..."

"Did you do car taxes yesterday?" Edds mother asked his father, who nodded.

"Alright boys, off with you, nice seeing you son, nice meeting you Levin." His mother brushed them off before starting a conversation with her husband.

"It's Kevin..." The redhead corrected for the second time.

Edd was shocked, but nonetheless, took Kevin's hand and walked away; "That was..."

"Easy..." Kevin finished the sentence.

They shared a loving look before smiling at one another. Edd started; "two down, one to go."
