In te following day after the training, Mikasa saw that I was insecure if I could go to their table or not and waved at me to come. I took a seat beside her. In front of me was Armin and beside him, in front of Mikasa, was Eren.
"[Name]?" Armin said, a bit surprised that I took a seat in front of him. Mikasa looked at us like 'you two already know each other?'
"Ah, h-hello..." I said shyly
"From now on, she will sit with us." Mikasa said with her cold and direct tone. And soon Eren asked:
"What?! Why?"
"She wanted to sit near us because doesn't have anyone." She answered. W-wait, I don't asked axactly...
"B-but---" She interrupted me with her hand in front of my face.
"Don't need to thank me." she gave a small smile, Mikasa smiling is a bit strange...
Eren and Armin were surprised by her actions, but soon they smiled at me and gave a welcome.
~Some days later~
Have a couple of days that I'm not the watcher more, but of course, is not always that I have Mikasa, Eren or Armin near to me. I found out that even Mikasa looking like a cold person, she is a sweet person inside, especially if was to help Eren in something, Probably she likes him... I smiled to my thought while I was watching then, Mikasa was kind of scolding Eren and he was angry for that. I saw in front of me, Armin was watching then same as me, with the same expression on his face, Even he has his friends, he become a watcher like me sometimes... So I thought about calling him.
"They were always like that?" I asked him, he looked at me a little surprised by my sudden question but soon answered:
"Ah, yes, since childhood."
"So they were with you since childhood?" He smiled by my question and answered:
"Yes, Eren and Mikasa always helped me..."
"With what?"
"W-when I was younger, before I meet then, had some children that were always beating me up..."
"R-really?! Why?" He suddenly became more shy and quiet, looks like he wanted to avoid say something.
"A-ah... Uh... Because I believe that have amazing things outside the walls..."
"Just because of this?" I blinked, Of course is not allowed to say what really have outside, but is not a problem to imagine it! "I think everyone can imagine what really have outside..."
"B-but would you believe if I say that have a endless body of water and a infinite salt in it? That have fields of snow and ice? And some places are totally dry because only have sand?" I looked confused, A lot of incredible and different places outside of these walls...?
"Exactly... Is the same reaction like everyone else..." He answered looking a little sad.
*Signal to go to headquarters*
Everyone started to move, going to their respective rooms, but even after the singal, I tried to talk to Armin.
"A-ah, Arm---"
"F-forget that!" He interrupted me "Will be better if we go to sleep now..." He moved out of his seat and followed Eren, which was complaining about Mikasa's worry, soon they went to their way and Mikasa stopped,while everyone just continued, looking at me, looks like she was waiting for me, I reached her and we followed to our room, while she started a small chat.
"Looks like you and Armin are getting along."
"Y-yeah... so so." She looked at me waiting for me to continue. "Well, he started to say what have outside the walls, I got confused with all he was saying and said to me to forget..."
"Hm? He doesn't act like that. Talk to him later." And we entered in our room, Talk to him...? 'Hey Armin, why you acted like that last night?" No, would be too weird, "Hm... Something's wrong? You said to me to forget all you said last night..." No! Dammit, I get really nervous to ask something 'personal' like, especially when is someone I barely know... H-how I'm going to ask?!
