this will be the biggest competition in the history of the Poets Pub. A 10 week competition to find an ultimate poet here at the Pub.
10 different poetry styles over 10 weeks. Are you up to the challenge?

Okay, this competition is getting off to a real slow start, so ....
as I have done in the past, I am changing the rules.
(I can do that because I am the BOSS)
So here is how this thing is going to work.
For a ten week period, we will be announcing a new Poetry Style each week for you to submit your poem to.
Only one Poem per Poet will be accepted for each week.
If you miss any week, you can submit the Poem at a later date and it will be accepted.
So if you miss Week 1 and we are on Week 5 ...
no problem. Send us your Week 1 poem and we will post it.

PLEASE FOLLOW THE FORMAT PROPERLY
At the end of the ten (10) week period, there will be a two (2) week period for all Poets to send in any straggler Poems they may have.
Then the competition will close and the judges will announce the winners to me and I will post a full list of all the winners.
Each week style will have a separate winner.
(In the case of a Poet winning two different weeks, they will be given credit for the win, but the second place winner will advance to the Poem Write Off. I feel this is fair.)
Please check back to this page each week for the newest Challenge, which will be posted on each consecutive Sunday for a ten week period.
