Something came out

The teams that were assigned to the fortress had been making stand points (small camps). There were a total of twenty-four camps. One of the teams found a hatch in Cortexia's chamber.
"This is team fifteen. We have something in Cortexia's chamber." That leader said on the com channel.
"Roger that. I'm sending the next available team to your coordinates." Yellow leader responded. Yellow team was busy taking to the command center. The transmissions started to fade in and out.

Red team started heading towards green teams coordinates. It seemed creepy in the fortress. That entire team walked in pairs. This team had a total of ten people.
  While they were walking something was moving and it wasn't red team. That whole team got into a defense position. There was a squad of Cortexia's soldiers with roughly six people. That fire fight lasted about fifteen minutes and with no casualties for red team.
  They continued to green team. As soon as they got there both teams heard a noise.
"What was that?" Red leader said.
"I don't know. Everyone get into defense positions." Green leader said. When they did something came from under the throne. It was almost as big as Cortexia. It showed no mercy and killed half the men in less than thirty minutes. The bullets didn't seem to be doing anything at the moment.
  What they didn't know was that this creature had a second eyelid. This eyelid was black. It's red eyes allowed it to seen in the dark. The long nails let it climb on walls. "Everyone make your way to the door but stay aware of this thing." Red leader said. They all ran to the door. A couple soldiers made it out alive.
