"He also told me not to come near him anymore, nor support him during his basketball games. He said his teammates also think that we fangirls are just a nuisance. It hurts, Ellie... it hurts."
I rubbed her back to soothe her. I kind of feel hurt too, but I can't blame those boys for feeling irritated towards us. It was our decision to run after them every day, after all.
"You go home and rest, okay? We'll talk tomorrow."
"Mhm. Thanks, Ellie."
After Jisoo left, I stared at Joohyuk's locker lonelier than before. Would he say the same thing to me, too? The thought made me feel depressed.

"Hwang! Lower your stance! Back straight, chin up!"
It's gym class today, and Coach Song is going to teach us volleyball. For once in my life, I have never been able to play volleyball nor basketball. This is one of my and Winter's similarities: we both suck at sports.
"Ellie Hwang! Do 30 push-ups! Go!"
I rolled my eyes. I don't even know if I'm physically fit.
Also, this terror coach is embarrassing me. The school's basketball team is practicing at the other side of the gym, and every time Coach Song is yelling at me, they kept looking this way.
I'm in so much humiliation right now.
"Yah, Winter! How come you do better than me in this? I thought you don't know how to play volleyball?" I said, while I was doing the push-ups coach told me to perform.
"I don't know, maybe I'm lucky and you're not?"
"Wow, what an answer. I was kind of hoping that you would encourage me for me to finish these stupid push-ups."
Winter suddenly looked behind me and I knew what it meant. I knew it from the expression on her face.
"C-coach-nim. H-how a-are you today?"
"Stupid, huh? RUN 10 LAPS AROUND THIS GYM IN THREE MINUTES!" He exclaimed.
I looked at Winter, who looked at me pitifully. "Aw, don't worry, you can do it!"
I smiled, happy that she actually cheered for me. "Well, thank you—"
"You can do it only if you don't pass out. So, good luck!"
My body was getting heavy in the middle of these push-ups, so I became slower. I glared at Winter who is happily grinning at me.
"I'm going to kill you once we get home, you brat."
She stuck her tongue out. "Try it. Oh! It's dismissal already. Gotta go home first! Ah, I'll lock the door, okay? So you won't get to 'kill' me." She said, laughing.
I shouted her name and stood up. This kid! Is she really my best friend or not?!
"Coach Song! Ellie's standing up already but she's not finished doing the push-ups yet! She's complaining too!"
I immediately went back to my position and tried to do everything quickly so I'll be able to finish fast.
But hell, I'm so tired!
"Hwang, I'll be leaving, but you still have to finish everything I told you to do. I'll be asking one of my students to look over you."
"Can't it be Winter Jeon, Coach Song?"
I tried to appeal using my aegyo, but then... "Additional 20 laps for complaining. Now, where is that boy...?" He searched through the gym. Maybe that student he's finding will be the one who'll be looking after me.
"There he is. JOHNNY!"
My eyes just grew bigger hearing his name. Oh no. What do I do?
I look haggard! Otthokhae?! My clothes are dirty too, and I smell awful!
Why does his voice have to be so freaking sexy?!
"I'm going to leave. As what I've told you before, keep an eye on this student and make sure she finishes what I told her to do."
"I will, coach." He smiled and bowed towards Coach Song, before he turned towards me while the latter left the both of us.

"Yah! Why did you have to add more punishments, huh? Are you my teacher?!" I exclaimed as I catch my breath. Gosh, I think I'm going to pass out.
"Aniyo. But Coach Song said that if you even complain once, I have the right to add punishments."
"Aish! You... I'm... you'll see..." I sat on the gym floor, breathing deeply. My shirt is very wet due to my excessive sweating. This is the first time I've ever experienced to sweat like this!
"I'll see what?" He smirked.
"I'm going to punish you too! I hate you!"
He stared at me for a moment, then after a few seconds, he burst out laughing.
"What's so funny, huh?" I frowned.
"You... hate me? Ha! Wait, wasn't it last Saturday when you cheered for me along with the other girls? Ah, that time when we won for the semis."
"How did you know I was there?"
"You shouted you love me, right? Oh. You're with Hansol's fan, weren't you? I bet she told you what happened between the both of them when she con-"
I covered both my ears with my two hands and closed my eyes shut. "Don't say it," I sighed. It's just that I remembered Jisoo's face a while ago. She's really hurt. "I don't want to be rejected, too."
"What did you say?"
"Nothing. I said I still love Joohyuk better than you. He's way more handsome and muscular, fyi. I may have told you I love you a thousand times, but I said the same to him a million times."
*insert thug life music, shades, and cap on*
"You mean, Nam Joo Hyuk, the swimmer? Psh. I've got more abs than him."
"I don't plan on knowing. Keep your abs to yourself. Aigoo, it looks like I'm the one who's going to have abs because of your punishment."
"What, 50 curl-ups aren't difficult at all."
"Yah, are you planning to train me for basketball or some wrestling competition? Look at me properly, Johnny."
He narrowed his eyes at me like he's examining me from head to toe. "Yeah, I get what you mean."
"Aside from the fact that you're flat-"
"Just telling. As I was saying, you're... malnourished? Skinny? Super thin?"
"You don't need to point it out that loud. Hey, even though I'm this thin, I still have a lot of advantages compared to other people."
Yah, Johnny Seo. I think your rank from my bias list just dropped a hundred times. I never thought you have this kind of side.
"Psh. Just so you wait, you're gonna regret criticizing and bullying me. And you're gonna pay for what you did to me."
"I'm sure that time will come... once I'm dead."
"You'll see, Johnny. You'll see."
