My mind was unusually quiet.

No response.

Come on, buddy. Just say something...

Mika glanced to me, at a loss for both what was going on and- quite possibly- something else. Apollo was still a total terrified baby on the floor. It remained like that in silence until the door burst open, banging against the wall loudly. The culprits of this was a feminine looking man with purple hair drenched and covering his left eye. Next to him was a woman with pink hair. Both had Crimson eyes and sundresses, everything drenched in a liquid with a pale green hue.

Apollo scrambled out the door faster than any of us could react, unless you were Asuramaru and Krul.

"Wow, good to see you too, Apollo!" Asuramaru called after him.
"Chicken." The two muttered in unison.

"Shouldn't you be going after him?" I asked, the only person unfazed at all (except for Ferid, who raised an eyebrow curiously at Krul. They were having a silent stare-down).
"Nah," Asuramaru said, dismissing it with a hand.
"He can't get that far. Even if he does, we'll find him." Krul broke free from the intense staring contest.

"We need to shower." She spoke up.

"No shit, sister. It's been ten years and we look like we just broke free from the Matrix." He said. Mika was perplexed, and so was I.

How did Asuramaru possess his body without me seeing it?

How the hell did Krul's consciousness return?

We never really got an answer for that, both of them exiting the room to find a shower. Everyone looked around boredly, knowing that they wanted us to remain in the room.

"So, they're the people in your minds?" Colette asked awkwardly.

"Yes?" Mika asked, brows furrowed in both frustration and confusion.

"Yuu, did you know about that? You didn't seem surprised at all."

"Ah..." Shit.

I forgot to tell him about that.

"I knew about Asuramaru. I didn't know when he was going to do that, or how he got Krul out of your mind." I admitted.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked.

"It slipped past me."

"Yeah okay that's fair."

"Colette... Are you alright?" Mika asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah." She nodded, fiddling with her hands.
"I'm gonna miss him, you know."

"You made the right decision, Lettie." He said, not an ounce of his being holding any doubt. He was filled to the brim with certainty.
"What about you? Are you alright?" She tilted her head.

"I can breath. And kiss him without any fear." Mika joked, gesturing to me. She laughed.

"Even though she's gone from my very essence, I still have my fangs." Mika whispered to me. I found it curious, feeling the small pulsing power flowing through my veins. I was still a demon.

"What's gonna happen to me?" Lola asked through the silence, looking at her jointed hand. Ferid glanced down to them, a guilty look crossing his face. His face had the words I said written all over it.

"I don't know."

Asuramaru and Krul returned in new clothing, dried to the exception of their hair, which the former had tied in a ponytail with a red bow. Both wore black dress pants and a white dress shirt, although Krul wore a white lab coat.
