"You left me on that lonely dirt road, with the moon at your back...and never heard my goodbye."
We put a call into the Doc in the morning after juice. He wanted us to muscle test a few of Mom's organ meridians and then call him back with what we found. Luckily I had watched the Doc enough times to know where most everything was located on the body. So Dad played surrogate tester to Mom, while I played the Doc.
We went through and tested Mom and then called him back. Her heart came up as 7, stomach 18, and her spleen was a 7. If they were all properly balanced, they would energy test at a 10.
Mom's breathing had become more labored too and she was restless at night. If Mom didn't sleep well it was like a ripple effect to Dad. Poor Dad was exhausted. It seemed a hit or miss these days if he was going to get a good night's sleep with Mom's slow decline.
Mom couldn't seem to relax or get comfortable. We couldn't take her around the house for walks because she was so weak. So the Doc recommended we do exercises with her legs while she was in bed.
"You can keep the muscles moving even though she's in bed," the Doc said.
"Okay," Dad said.
Dad and I nicknamed it her "Jane Fonda" work-out. We started doing them immediately.
Then I sent Dad in to the Doc's to get checked out. The man was expending everything he had. We were burning on all our fronts.
I didn't know what it was like for him to watch the love of his life deteriorate. I knew he didn't like to talk about it. So we didn't. He didn't want to touch the emotions. If he touched them he'd have to let them out of their cage to voice it. I think it scared him. As far as he was concerned, he didn't have time to "feel" in the middle of the war to keep his wife alive.
I stayed home with Mom and made sure she was okay. While I cracked down on the never-ending-fucking chores.
I did a few more of the exercises with Mom too. By the end of the day Mom was much more relaxed. Thank-fucking-God. Something had worked.
Mom's Jane Fonda Leg Exercises - Day 9
Days Juicing: 113
Since Mom's been having issues with her heart (we just energy tested her with applied kinesiology and increased her heart nutritional supplements) her legs have been really bothering her. We used to get her up and walk her, with assistance to the bathroom. But not right now, because her breathing becomes extremely labored. She just doesn't have the energy to get up right now.
So, her legs get painful. The Hospice nurse suggested we give her pain meds. But then what? Then we're not going to know where any pains are coming from. So we told the nurse "NO".
We're not putting her on pain meds automatically because she's in pain or uncomfortable. The whole idea here is people, to RESOLVE what's causing the pain, not dull everything.
I do therapy and other stuff to her every day, that causes her pain. The body is made to move, and healing does take a certain amount of discomfort, to unclog or move energy through stagnant areas of the body.
So, we're moving her legs, which does cause her pain, like 5-8 times a day.
