The day had finally ended and i was now at the shopping centre with Chrissy. She couldn't stop talking about the date she has this weekend so forced me to go buy an outfit with her. I love her, but she can be so annoying sometimes. "Does this look good... nah." She chucked it out and i caught it adding it to the mountain of clothes already piled on the chair. She came out of the changing room and huffed. "Why do you just stare into space? You want to be a fashion designer and your not even helping me!" I sighed.

"You know i can't become one, i don't have the money!" I rolled my eyes, folding each piece of clothing.

"Well, can you at least help your friend in need?" She pouted, giving me the puppy eyes which made me give in.

"C'mon then." I dragged her into the main part of the store. Looking around i walked to the dress section and carefully looked for something that stood out. When a piece of fabric caught my eye i pulled it out and looked it up and down. It was possibly the most beatiful dress i've ever seen. The fabric was a stunning vintage pink, the dress itself was slightly short and flowed amazingly after its tight torset. It had a white floral pattern which complimented it nicely.

Grinning, I pushed it into her hands and let her look at it. Cringing she gave it back to me. "I will look like a bloody barbie doll!" I gasped at her comment and tutted her.

"You asked for my help, so you will at least try it on!" Grabbing the heels i had also picked out i passed it all back to her and pushed her to the dressing room.

Waiting outside excitedly for her to change i put all the clothes into the unwanted section. I was proud of what i had chosen for her. In a few minutes she was changed and stepped outside. "You look amazing!" My eyes were wide at my choice.

"Ok ok, I guess you were right. Thanks" She grinned and hugged me. I held myself back from a snarky comment and let her enjoy the moment. "I will try and find a way for you to get your dream." She commented.

Sighing i stepped away from the hug, "Where do you think i will get the money from?" I argued.

"My mum is more than happy to give it to you! You've helped our family out so much that it's the least we can do! If you dont feel happy just taking the money, then you can be my mums designer?" This suggestion made a grin slowly appear on my face.

"Fashion designer .. for your mum? Yes!" I hugged her tightly and she laughed with joy.

"My mums last one sucked, she went to an event looking like she should live in the jungle." She snorted ungracefully at the reminder. "And plus, she thinks of you like another daughter. I swear sometimes she loves you more than me!" I patted her head lightly.

"Thats because i'm better than you, my dear friend." I watched as the smile wiped of her face and i slowly backed away.

"HEY!" She hollered, running at me. But by the time she had got the exit of the store, i was already half way down the street.
