I always knew that there was more to this world than what meets the eye. That everything is tied together, like a food chain. I'd like to think that I've almost figured out the reason behind everything that happens in life. I know that some people have it bad and some people have it great. And I know that even though life is unfair, everyone is capable of being happy in their own way. How? It all depends on how you choose to use what you get in life, and your morals and intentions and everything else that comes out of that category.
Now some of you may be thinking, What the hell is she talking about? And I don't blame you, because sometimes I don't even know what I'm talking about. Some would call me a philosopher, others would call me a daydreamer. Either way, you're both right.
You can give me a thousand different labels and I will probably fit the description perfectly. But I want you to sit down and think about it for a minute. I wasn't born any of these things. I wasn't born having these unquestionable thoughts. And I know I'm only 16 years old but I think that's just it. I think my eyes have opened and my shell has been broken at a younger age than most. And I promise you, that one day, you will realize that the world isn't what you thought it would be. And when that day comes, I hope you think about me, Autumn Millman.
The girl who realized too early.
