*This is book one in the Selfless trilogy, although each one of the books are indipendent from the others so what happens in Life won't affect the storylines of Clessidra and Lapis!
Hello everyone! My name is Elena and this is the first story I'm publishing on this account. I have another one, but this one will be more focused on the mcu and in general on tv series I freak out about, so here I am. I really hope you'll like this story, and I have so many other ideas you have no idea lol
Just a little disclaimer before I let you enjoy the chapter: first of all, my native language is not english, so please don't hate on me if I make too many mistakes, but definitely point them out politely to help me improve it. And secondly, I've started only recently to get really into the mcu and I don't know much about the comics, but I had a lot of ideas about stories to write and I decided to share them with you. I'm really sorry if I make some mistakes about a character's plotline or if I don't portray it the way it's showed in the comics. Again, I've started recently and I will surely inform myself more on the characters I write about, but in the mean time I'll be glad if you could tell me if I write something wrong (again, politely). I do own everything that concerns Hazel Banks' plotline though, so don't hate on my baby or I'll smack yo head.
So, without further ado, I really hope this first chapter interests you enough to vote and leave a comment, but I won't get pissed if you don't :P
Love you all,
Update: I'm gonna edit this whole story again because there are some unimportant things I wanted to change, so at the end of every chapter I'll add if it was edited or not :P
"Believe it or not, it's kind of hard to find someone with shared life experience."
"One step behind, please, there's enough time for everyone of you!"
The whole crowd moved together, like a compact wave, and a few whines came from it, mainly from people who didn't catch the movement and almost fell.
The sky was foggy and dark and threatened to get worse, since the degrees were slowly dropping as well. A few people from the crowd were forced to wear heavier clothes in order not to catch a cold.
Hazel sighed as she moved forward, careful not to let her backpack fall from her shoulder as she tightened the grip around the blanket. She was freezing, but still she was never going to lose her spot. Her stomach had been whining for days and she couldn't go on like that.
About half a hour later, the crowd had moved so that Hazel finally reached the steps of the building, which meant there were four people left before her. She sighed as two of them went away with poorly filled cups of soup warming their hands, her mouth almost drooling at the sight. She reached the small stand were three people were passing a large man plastic cups. The man eyed the girl as he poured the soup in the cup, furrowing his eyebrows.
