"Maybe you could become a stripper." My best friend Lucille comments but not before smiling wide and dancing on me as if she has back problems. Lucille can't dance especially if it involves her lower body. The best she can do is Jazz hands and I'm even embarrassed for her.

"I am not going to do that." I groan out as she continuously tries to shake her bum in my lap, "Now get off of me."

"What?" She says sitting down next to me with a frown growing on her face, "You need money don't you? Strippers can make it rain." Her smile reappeared as she says,"You know what I have always thought of?" Lucille has become obsessed with the idea of her getting the big bucks but only thinks she can do it if she's a stripper. She could pull it off she's beautiful you couldn't help but get drawn into her hazel eyes that seem to hold a world of mystery. Her curly, dyed blonde hair adds a playful touch, and the heart-shaped contour of her face is simply enchanting. What fascinates me even more is the subtle hint of her natural red hair, she didn't even need to know how to dance to become a stripper she could stand and do jazz hands and be fine.

Looking down at my computer I had finally got an idea it was a crazy one indeed but, it could possibly work, "I could become a surrogate."

"You really wanna push a big watermelon out of your puss --"

I cut her off saying, "Some people are willing to pay twenty thousand dollars a month."

"Girl you better open them legs and push." She says and I chuckle a little knowing she's being really serious, "What? I'm not playing."

"You know what I might just be a great mom."

"When you're a surrogate you don't be the mom you're just the person who carries the baby." She says giving a look that says I am an idiot.

"So I'd be having someone's kid with my genes and everything only for it to be taken away?"

"You're such an idiot, they will implant the woman's egg in you and do an insemination, the baby won't even have your genes. . .I think that's how it goes." She says matter of factly, her neck twisting and turning while her hands were moving like they were talking with her, "I still think you should just be a stripper."

"I have the body for it." I say trying to give myself at least an ounce of confidence to even try to be a stripper.

"You really do like look at your boob's no other stripper has boob's like those." She comments as she poked at my boob's.

"You're right." I said looking down at the two friends I've carried with me everywhere since third grade.

"Damn right I'm right." She says still continuously poking at my boob's.

"Then no surrogacy?" I asked kind of pouting as I looked at how much money I could possibly be paid.

"It's your choice but think of this, no coffee, no alcohol, no parties, drama all because of someone else wanted a baby, not you." She says, "You're a freshman in college you should be able to live life girl."

"You're right." I said, I was in my second semester of freshman year, I am currently at a two year university. But I needed to make sure that I could even afford everything I needed, no matter what the cost.

"Damn right I'm right." I swear that is Lucy's favorite thing to say.

"I have to go." I say looking down at my watch, "I have a doctors appointment."

"Okay, be safe." She says, "And remember I'm right so don't get anymore dumbass ideas."

I shake my head at her as I walk outside and then get in my black Jeep. I start driving and get into my music, my body dancing side to side as I drove. Even though I was into the music my mind was elsewhere. I need to find a way to get some money and quickly, my mother's surgery isn't too far away, and my brother needs surgery too. This has put me in a bind especially because I need to pay for college too.

Finally arriving at the doctors I wait until they called my name, "Miss. Dominguez."

"Hi. . .I'm your nurse Lisa. Dr. Jessica Cancio, will be here to see you soon." She says smiling at me, Dr. Cancio is my new gynecologist due to my other doctor retiring early. I sat down on the gynecologist seat as the nurse handed me a gown to change into. She sat down in a chair to the side as I changed into the gown. I then laid down on the gynecologist seat.

Soon after in came Dr. Cancio, "Hi, how are you?" She says, she looked stressed, her hazel eyes bounced from me to the ground as if she wanted to cry.

Before I could answer Nurse Lisa asked, "Are you okay doctor?" She watched Dr. Cancio she could see the same sad expression I seen.

The doctor just sits in the seat in front of me and moves my feet into the stirrups my legs wide open.

"Doctor are you okay?" Nurse Lisa asked one more time as I uncomfortably shifted in the seat, the room was chilly and here I was spread wide.

"Yes I'm fine now be quiet I'm concentrating." She says as she went towards my vagina. I felt really uneasy, Nurse Lisa kept checking if everything was okay, but I couldn't shake off the discomfort. The doctor, while saying she was fine, seemed more focused on the exam than my unease. It was just an awkward and uncomfortable situation.

"I can reschedule if this is a bad ti --" I was cut off my an uncomfortable feeling of her inserting the speculum into me, she could've given me some sort of warning. I closed my eyes, hoping to distract myself, but the uncomfortable feeling continued to rise.

"Doctor, why did you use that?" Nurse Lisa asked her, she was suddenly standing up her eyes fixated on the instrument used.

I couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and concern. "What's wrong?" I asked, the discomfort fading as the doctor removed the instrument.

Nurse Lisa's expression turned from curiosity to shock as she peered down at what the doctor held in her hands. "There is something wrong," she exclaimed, her tone adding a layer of nervousness, a pit began to grow in my stomach. I couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to this situation than I initially thought, and the exchanged glances between the doctor and Nurse Lisa only intensified my growing unease.

"Nurse Lisa, please exit the room. You're frightening this girl," Dr. Cancio instructed, her voice attempting to ease the tension. I couldn't understand why the nurse looked so scared, adding to my confusion.

"Nothing is wrong. You can sign yourself out in the front; there is nothing wrong down there either," Dr. Cancio reassured, but her attempt at calming the situation only left me more perplexed.

I nodded, trying to trust her reassurance, but the lingering unease and Nurse Lisa's fearful reaction lingered in my mind. There had better not be something wrong, or I'm killing both of them.

Authors Note:

So I've been reading comments and people are saying they are confused or don't like the book. All of this stuff but at the end of the book! So I'm editing it because I wrote this a long time ago and I know I need to edit it.

So now when a chapter has a "|✔" it's completely edited. I still make mistakes though so call me out on them.
