It was happening.

Draco and Hermione were finally living together.

"I cannot believe this. I, Draco Malfoy, am living with you, Hermione Granger."

"Draco, it's been a long time since we started dating. You need to stop saying that."

"Alright, sorry, but do you know how exciting this is?" he almost jumped from his spot on the floor.

"Yes, it is, after all, I, Hermione Granger, am living under the same roof voluntarily, with you, Draco Malfoy."

"Stop flattering me, Grangie," he blushed despite knowing that she was joking. "Now, tell me what do you want to do for the rest of the evening? We are young and we have just moved in with each other, there's only one thing I can think of."

"I am only waiting for you to say it, Malfoy."

"Reading out loud to each other?"

"Oh Merlin, stop talking dirty to me!" she said standing to grab a book from her section of the bookshelf.

"What book do you want to read?" he asked, stretching his neck to see what she was going to pick.

"I was thinking something Muggle, what do you want?"

"I am always up for anything Muggle, Grangie," he smirked.

"Always up, huh? We shall see, Malfoy." It was now her time to smirk. "So, 20th century or 21st?"

"Can you read out The Little Prince to me? I love the way you narrate it."

"When have you heard me reading it?"

"At the hospital, when you volunteered in the children's wing."

"You were there?"

"Yes, I managed to sneak in for twenty minutes."

"I hate you," she joked.

"I love you too."

"Alright, Little Prince it is for now. But promise me you will read out 'Hogwarts: A History' to me later? I love it the way you say 'Slytherin'!"

"Why you little tease, Grangie, of course I will!"

"I love you."

The two settled in a cozy corner and started their reading session. This was one activity they had started enjoying recently. It had happened accidentally, Draco was reading out a poem to himself when Hermione had entered the room. She had (obviously) loved the way he had been narrating it and thus it had started. It was turning out to be one of their favourite things to do together. When Hermione had told about this to Ginny, the redhead witch had said and these were her exact words: "Gosh, you nerds are so kinky! I knew I should have chosen someone like Theo." Hermione chose to not reply. She knew that there was nothing sexual underlying in this activity (well, most of the times there wasn't) so she didn't feel the need to justify it. Now, with Draco's head resting in her lap, she knew that this was probably the one thing that connected them. Books had always been her thing, but sadly she could never really discuss them with her series of Quidditch-playing boyfriends. As much as she would have loved to deny it, most of her boyfriends had been typical sports players. But now she had found Draco and books became their thing. And she was so, so happy about it!

"Hey, why are you pausing? Don't stop, I want to know what happened to the Prince!" Draco exclaimed looking up at her.

"Sorry, I was just thinking about something," she shook her head.
