I opened my eyes, not knowing were I was. I noticed I was laying down in a bed, but it did not look familiar. I tried standing up from the bed and pain shot through my body. I looked down and noticed bruises in my legs. I sat back down in the unknown bed and looked around. The room was big and was iluminated by the sun rays coming from the window blinds. There was a mirror by a big wooden door which caught my attention. Next to the mirror was a book shelf with about 30 books. Next to the beds were small cabinets with beautiful white lamps on top. Whoever slept here had money. I stood up again and headed towards the mirror. My hair was a tangled mess and there was bruises on my left cheek. I still had my dress on which was good. As I looked at my bruises again, I starded remembering last night. I still couldn't believe Drew did that. I loved him. He was my everything. Tears streamed down my face but I quickly wiped them away. I fixed my dress and my hair and opened the door. Once I stepped into the hallway, I heard a voice. It was coming from one of the rooms. I made my way towards the room when a male starded screaming.
"No you listen to me! You can't tell anyone what happened! It's only between us! Got it?" The male said. There was silence for a few minutes when he spoke again. "You better not tell anyone." I heard him put the phone down, followed by a loud sigh. I looked inside the room and there was a man with his back was towards me but I didn't have to look at his face to know that he was good looking. He was wearing a black tank top and an afro. His arms were mascular and I noticed some tattoos. He rubbed the back of his neck in a nervous way. I took a step back, scared that he would see me, when I bumped into the wall.
"Seriously." I thought.
He turned around and met my eyes. Sure enough, he was handsome. No. He was more than handsome. He was almost angellic. He had a serious look on his face and I couldn't help but feel weak. He starded walking towards me, eyes directly looking at mine. He stopped only a few inches away from me. I could hear his heavy breathing and his eyes looked more beautiful than they did a couple seconds ago. His hand gently brushed through my bruised cheek. He studied my face, as if waiting for a reaction, but I was frozen.
"Does it hurt?" He asked. His voice was calm but his face had a worried expression.
"No" I said quietly.
He removed his hand from my cheek and put it in his pocket. He looked at my dress and my bruised legs and a heavy breathe was released from his mouth. He starded walking away and left me confused.
As if he read my mind, he turned around and said "Stay here, i'll get you something to change into." He turned and kept walking.
I leaned against the wall and tried processing everything that had happened. This person, who I didn't even know had kept me here all night and was now offering me clothes to change into. This was not real I thought. I had to leave and get home. I starded walking, looking for the main door so I could leave but it seemed that there was none. This place was larger than I thought. I looked inside one of the rooms, still looking for the main door, when I noticed a picture. Interested, I got in and closed the door. The room looked like another bedroom. This bedroom was much smaller than the one I woke up in. It had almost the same things, except this one looked like it had not been used in years. Dust covered the cabinets and shelfs and the picture was covered in dirt. I took the photograph in my hands and cleaned it. My eyes instantly landed on a woman, about 30 years old. She was smiling along with four teenage girls by her side. On the other side of the woman were two teenage boys. The first one was a complete stranger to me, but the second boy was obvious to me. It was him.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?"
