Chapter 5

The next day I got up at 6:30 to go workout. I got changed

and went downstairs to eat a apple, then I wrote a note so they could know where I went.
I put my earphones on and left.

2 hours later I was done and went back to the house.

When I got back I saw Charlie looking for something.
"What are you looking for?" I asked him
"I'm looking for my keys, I'm late to work" he responded
I helped him look for the keys, after 4 minutes I found them on the kitchen counter and gave them to him.
"Me and Faye are going to the mall" I told him
"Okay, I put more money on the credit card, so you can buy whatever, I have to go, I'll see you soon" he said and left.
I went to my room and took a shower, after that I got changed into some clothes.

I went to the living room and turned the T.V on, after 1 hour Faye came down dressed.

"Good morning Faye" I smiled at her
"Good morning Essie" She said and smiled back then sat down next to me
"Do you want to go now?" I asked her
"Yeah sure let's go!" She said excitedly
I quicky ran to my room to get my driver's license.
I went outside to see that Faye was already waiting for me.
I called a taxi and a few minutes later we were on our way to the mall.

•20 minutes later•

We got to the mall and went to the stores that I went I to yesterday to buy Faye's clothes, shoes and other stuff. After 3 hours we were almost done, we went inside a store called Victoria's Secret and it was a undergarments store, I picked out bras and other stuff and so did Faye, then we went to pay when we saw a sign that said that they were looking for model's.
"Do you think we could get the job?" I asked Faye
"I don't know, let's ask what the requirements are" she said
We went to the cash register and paid for all of our stuff after that Faye asked the lady "excuse me miss, we saw that you guys are looking for model's, we wanted to know what the requirements are to get the job"
"Well first, you have to be 16 and older, you have to be some what pretty, have the body of a model and the last thing is to just have the enthusiasm of being a model" she told us
"Do you think we could get the job? We're both 16" I told her
She studied us carefully and then after a minute she said "yes, the both of you are actually very beautiful and have the perfect body, do you girls want the job?" She asked us
I turned to look at Faye and she looked really excited, then I turned back to the lady "yes, we do want the job" I said with a smile
"Perfect!" She said with a big smile "Just let me go get the papers that you girls need to sign and then you can leave" with that she left to the back of the store
I turned to look at Faye and we both started squealing and then I gave her a hug
"We got the job!" I told her
"I know, I'm so excited!" She said with a big grin
The lady soon returned and handed us the contracts, we quickly read it and then she handed us a pen and told us where to sign.
After that we gave her our phone numbers and other information.
"We will call you when we're going to do your first photoshoot, welcome to the job girls, good luck" she said with a grin
"Thank you very much" we both told her with a big smile
After that we got our bags and left the store.
Since I still had a lot of money left, we went to a place where they sell cars and we were greeted by a very pretty lady.
"Hello, how can I help you today?" She asked us with a smile
"I was looking for a new car" I told her with a smile
"Follow me and I'll show you some cars we have" she said
We followed her and soon we reached a room where there were three beautiful cars.
"Okay, so this first car is a Lamborghini Aventador, we're selling it at $400.000, the next car is a Dodge Challenger, it costs $44,700 and the last one is a BMW i8, and it costs $140,530" she said
I looked inside the cars and decided that I wanted the Lamborghini

so I did all of the paperwork and paid for the car, she then gave me the keys and we put the bags in the car and we left the shop and went back to the house.

We got to the house and we got the bags inside and I started putting the stuff I bought in my bathroom and closet. When I was finished I took a nap.

I woke up around 8 and I went downstairs to the kitchen where Charlie was making dinner.
"Hey Charlie" I greeted him
"Hey Essie, how was your day?" He asked me
"It was great, we got jobs as model's at Victorias Secret as model's" I said with a smile
"That's great, by the way, who's car is that in the driveway?" He asked me with curiosity in his voice
"Oh it's mine, I bought it with the leftover money I had" I said with a grin
"Oh okay, if you need money for gas just tell me" he said with a small smile
"Okay, thanks Charlie" I said and started helping him make dinner.
After we were done I yelled at Faye that dinner was ready and she came down and we started to eat, after we were done eating I washed the dishes and I went upstairs to take a shower and when I was done I changed into my pajamas

and sat down in my balcony, thinking about how much my life had changed in these past few days, I do miss Alexander, but it was better that I left, I wouldn't stand seeing him whoring around with other girls.
I suddenly remembered that a couple of weeks before I left I had met a girl who's name is Alicia, I totally forgot about her! Oh my god she must be so mad at me.
I had a feeling that one day I was going to have return to Virginia, but I shouldn't worry about that, my life so far here in L.A is perfect.
After 20 minutes I went back into my room and went to sleep thinking about my pack.
