"That's good to hear." We stared at each other for a few seconds, naubusan na ng sasabihin sa isa't isa. I can feel the awkwardness creeping in. Maya maya pa ay naglakad na si Margaux pa-kwarto namin para magpalit. Halfway there though, I called out to her.
"Listen. Wanna have dinner outside this time?"
She looked at me over her shoulders, not knowing what to say. Of course, she doesn't know what to say. It's my first time asking her out. What the fuck? "Err.. kasama si Simon. You know, para maiba naman yung place." I awkwardly mumbled while scratching my nape.
"Okay...? Sure." She replied a good minute after, threw me an awkward smile at dumiretsong muli papuntang kwarto.

MARGAUX'S POV
It's now 7 in the evening. Kakapasok lang namin ni Seth sa isang restaurant a few distance from our house. We tend to avoid large-crowded places like malls kapag lumalabas kami since we don't want anyone to know about us yet. That's why we bought a house at least an hour away from school.
We never had a hard time hiding our relationship to other people. Hindi kami madalas lumabas ni Seth na magkasama, and when we do, we make sure to act as if we don't know each other. We have different cliques din sa school kaya all the more reason for us to not talk outside.
And that is why tonight's different.
This is literally the first time na lalabas kami, and as a family pa. Aside from going to Simon's doctor appointments and visiting each other's parents, hindi na kami lumalabas together.
I'm a bit uncomfortable, scared that someone we know will catch us. Or worst, we might encounter a paparazzi. Heaven forbid na mangyari iyon jusko. Seth's not that big sa media but he's still quite known as a model. This is why we chose a quaint looking restaurant, hoping na its nondescript enough to not run into anyone we know.
We're seated sa may pinakadulo at pinakatago na table. Inaayos ni Seth si Simon sa baby chair nya habang ako ay hindi mapigilan ang pag-ikot ng mga mata, checking kung may nakakakilala na ba sa amin. There's not many people in the restaurant and they're minding their own business but still, hindi ako mapakali.
"Will you relax? Lalo kang nahahalata sa pag sulyap sulyap mo jan." Sabi ni Seth sa akin habang nakabaling pa din ang ulo kay Simon pero ang mga mata ay nakatitig sakin.
"I can't help it. This is our first time lumabas at kasama pa natin si Simon."
"Relax. No one will know."
I sighed. Maybe I'm overthinking this too much. I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths to calm myself at saka nagfocus kina Seth at Simon.
Tiningnan muli ako ni Seth at tinaasan ng kilay. "You good na?"
