He was in trouble. Lots of trouble. As soon as he'd said those regretful words, 'Urgh that (YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK, FILM, SONG, BAND, OBSESSION) is balls. How can you even like it?', your boyfriend knew that he was going to have to make it up to you...big time.
Big time as in buying you lots of fandom merch and listening to you talk about it for hours straight but hey, in the great scheme of things, it was a small sacrifice to make. Especially since (INSERT YOUR FAVOURITE...YEAH, YOU KNOW THE DRILL. OBSESS AWAY) made you so undeniably happy. It allowed you to have an escape from the world when life became too much to handle, something (YBF) was more than pleased for you to have. Goodness knew how they needed time away from everything occasionally.
Thankfully, they had you. Yes you were their escape from reality. From the madness of it all. Your kindness, quirks and obsessions helped keep them grounded and remind them of the important things in life.
