Why is it always me

Emmalyn's P.O.V.

I woke up at 5:30 on the dot to get ready to start my dumb af day. I grab my clothes from my computer chair and I go take a shower. After the shower I put my clothes on ,and I go back into my room to find no other than my older brother that thinks he's all that.

"Emma the boys are coming over later so don't bother us." My brother tells me

"Whatever I don't care Michael and why would I?" I say back as cocky as I can

"You always do and I'm sick of it. You need to leave the boys and alone when we're practicing." Idiot says back

"That's because you guys are always being to loud when you come back inside to cool off ,and most of the time I'm trying to do my homework!" I said starting to raise my voice.

"Then wait until they go home to do your homework." He told me shockingly calmly

"You guys always are up until midnight Michael." I say getting calm again.

"Fine we will be quit until you tell us that you're done with it." He said actually being nice

"Ok thank you." I say sweetly

"Yeah yeah yeah just don't tell the boys that I'm being nice ok?" Mikey said and I just simply nodded and laughed then a horn honked.

"Bye Mikey see ya later." I say as I shut the door

"Hey girl whatcha doing?" My best friend Donna asked

"Nothing you ready to skip?" I asked cheerfully

"Yeah when am I not?" She said and we both laughed

"We gotta go get our homework tho" I said and she hit my arm

"No I didn't know that" she said sarcastically

"Oh shup up and drive" I told her and she did. Then when we got to the school I said to her "ok I'll go in and get our homework ok?"

"Wait what the excuse?

"You're vomitting everywhere and I'm about to go to the dentist so I won't be at school today." I said and she chuckled and and told me to go.

"Umm... Excuse me I need all of mine and Donna's homework for today" I said to the office lady( I've been in this school for what seems like forever and I still don't know her name

"Why what do you need it for?" She asked me

"Donna is vomitting everywhere and I'm going to the dentist here in a little so I won't be here today either." I say firmly

"Ok I get it together right now" she said

"Ok thank you." I say nicely. A few minutes later she comes back into the office

"Ok here's all of your guys homework." She said and gave it all to me

" thank you." Is all I say and then I walk out and we drive off.
