Chapter Thirty Six
I sat in the seat of my car, outside the girl's dorms planning on what to tell everyone when they asked how the trip was. I sighed and walked into the lobby taking a deep breathe. I got into the elevator and pushed my floor. When I got there, I took a deep breath before opening the door and looking into the room. Mom was gone, but Damon was asleep on my bed.
I walked over to him and climbed in under his arm covering us up in the process. I snuggled in and he groggily wrapped his arm around me.
"What are you doing?" he asked. He was about to move when I looked up at him.
"Please just lay here with me," I pleaded and he nodded laying back down. I felt my cheeks heat up as his arm around me made my skin tingle. His hugs were like heaven, so warm gentle and welcoming.
"Stop leading him on. Give him a shot," my head continued. I dismissed it. I let the warmth take over me as I fell asleep in his arms.
When I woke up, Damon was still next to me, his arm draped over my stomach with a decent grip. I smiled when I saw his sleeping figure. I moved out of his arms and went to brush my teeth and take a shower. After getting dressed and drying my hair, I walked back out. Damon was still sleeping and I giggled at how he was STILL sleeping. I walked over to him and brushed a stray piece of hair out of his eye and kissed his forehead.
"I'll be right back," I whispered before slipping on my converse and leaving. I walked into the elevator and down to the lobby. I walked out to my car and started it up going to the coffee shop. I ordered two coffees. Mine was a vanilla latte and Damon's was black. I took them both to the car and drove home.
When I got there, Damon was sitting on my bed and watching TV. When he saw me, he blushed slightly and smiled.
"Morning sleeping beauty," I said. He laughed and I handed him the coffee. I sat on the bed next to him after taking my shoes off.
"D-doctor who," he stuttered.
"Are you okay?" I asked. He nodded looking away. I put my hands on his cheeks moving my thumbs back and forth. I felt his face heat up.
"Do you like me?" he asked. I put my hands down.
"Of course I like you. We wouldn't be here if I wasn't fond of you," I said with a duh look on my face. He grabbed my face this time, and he looked deep into my eyes as if searching for something.
"I mean like like me. I'm falling hard for you and I want to know right now if you will be there to catch me," he said. My face heated up and I was getting lost in his eyes. Without thinking, I leaned in slightly leaving only about an in between our lips. He leaned in the rest of the way connecting our lips and moving his hands to my waist. My hands went to his neck and it was like fireworks. Everywhere he touched was leaving a trail of tingling feeling and my stomach was betraying me by setting free the captured butterflies. Our lips moved in sync and his soft lips were on mine.
I pulled away for air resting my forehead on his. I saw a smile on his face and I couldn't help but smile.
"I don't know how I feel yet,"I said.
"But you are a great kisser," I admitted.
"What about the fiance? I don't like cheating or lying," he said.
"He cheated on me. Ever since he moved to London, he had been shacking up with a model. I threw the ring in a pool," I said laughing a little. He put his hands back on my face forcing me to look at him.
"I wouldn't hurt you like that. Ever. He doesn't deserve you," he reassured me.
"You were awake when I kissed you this morning weren't you?" I asked. He nodded.
"Half way, yeah," he responded while smiling.
"How did you know?" he asked. I shook my head.
"Been there," I said and we both laughed.
"We should go somewhere," he said. I smiled.
"Where would you like to go?" I asked running my hand up and down his arm.
"You major in music right?" he asked and I nodded.
"We shall go to karaoke!" he exclaimed while standing up. I sighed and stood up. I put my shoes on and walked over to him. We took his bike, and we went to karaoke bar around the corner. When we went inside, he paid for two hours and we went back to the room.
"Pick a song kitten," he said smiling and taking a seat on the couch. I sighed and looked through the song book. I chose the song Gravity by Against the Current. I got up on the little stage pedestal and the lyrics played on the screen even though I knew them by heart. I started singing and Damon's mouth dropped. I continued to sing and he smiled. I smiled back and before I knew it, the song was over.
A/N: What do you think of Damon and Violet together. I thought that they had amazing chemistry and they had to be together if even for just one chapter before everything came crashing down. Should Ace come back for another chapter, or should he be gone for good now? Tell me what you think and don't forget to vote comment and share.
