''Nala, why can't you be more like your sisters?" My dad asked me. He looked at me with so much hate. I really did try my best to impress my father, but to him I'm not good enough. ''Dad, I'm so-sorry." I said in between sniffs.
Why couldn't I be more like my sisters? They were perfect, everyone enjoyed being around them. "Why can't you be more like your sisters?" He walked towards me and kneeled down.
I didn't answer him, I ignored him instead.
"Get out." He spoke through gritted teeth and left the room.
My own father told me to get out of his house, were was I suppose to go? Why is he doing this to me? I only made one mistake, why couldn't he forgive me and just move on? We all make mistakes from time to time.
Everyone deserves a second chance, right?
