i wake up to my alarm and roll my eyes.
crap.
school.
I get up out of my covers and sit up.
I head to my closet to see what to wear today.
I decide on (outfit above).
I head to my bathroom and braid my hair into two french braids.
I grab my rose gold phone off my counter and slip it in my floral vans backpack.
One week of school left.
Thank god.
I walk out the door, grabbing a muffin on the way.
Mom wasn't here this morning, she had work.
I get to school after riding the awful bus there, which I never do, and I hate it.
I walk in my first class and play on SnapChat, bc Math sucks.
I put my phone away and realize that I need to pay attention as my phone starts ringing.
Crap.
I'm dead.
Mr. Holland turns around.
"Who's cellphone is going off?"
I raise my hand.
"Sorry sir, I forgot to turn it off."
"It's okay Madison, just don't let it happen again."
I smile at him and start to take notes after I turn my phone on silent, as the screen keeps lighting up.

I walk out of my class and go to my locker and take my phone out.
What was blowing up my phone?
I see 4 unknown numbers who keep lighting up my screen.
I decide to text back.

I turned my phone off and put it in my book bag, just as the bell started to ring and I darted to my class.
