When James Darcy met Charlotte Kineton, he was only looking for physical pleasure, nothing more, nothing else. The moment his eyes landed on her, sitting alone across the room, he knew without a doubt that he needed her, but only her body, only in his bed. That was, until her body wasn't enough anymore and he started craving something more, something deeper, meaningful, because she was the only woman that was able to break through the barriers he had set in place to protect himself from pain.
