O N E
"Y/n! Hurry up!" Jacob calls from downstairs, impatient-ness in his tune of voice.
"Alright.." I yawn. I take my white night gown and tie it, so it'll be a bit saggy around my waist. I put on a pair of black basketball shorts, and white flats.
I walk down the smooth wooden steps. Meeting eyes with Jacob.
"Took you long enough." He crossed his arms. "C'mon, let's go now."
I sat at the passenger seat, my hand and elbow keeping my motionless face up. I look at the people and buildings that dash away quickly.
I close my eyes as Jacob parks the van.
Now, we're here, 'Geurtena Art Gallery'.
I drag my feet lazily as Jacob's words echo in my blank mind. 'Look, if you wanna be an artist Y/n, you may need some inspiration..'.
Inspiration huh? Well, all that's here, is, well... Sorta creepy.?
I turn my head to a painting. 'Worry' All there is a pure white white figure with one eye. Doesn't look worried to me.
I walk around even more, and more, and then more. I then walk over to what looked like a couch. Kinda weird looking to be honest.
Silence over whelm me.
Then, the lights start to flicker.
Few more seconds, and the lights go out. Completely. The children's giggling fades away, along with the chattering of teens and other adults. I loose all steadiness and scream.
"Hello?!? I-Is anybody there?!?!" After that, I stop screaming and I start to whimper. "P-please. I-I hate the dark... I don't wanna be alone!!" I can feel warm tears slide down to my chin.
"N-No, I won't cry. I-I'm strong! Hey.. Where is my phone?" I find my phone in the pocket of my night gown. I turn on the flashlight app.
"YES!!!" I squeal and continue walking around.
After what seemed like hours, I come across the big blue painting that most people come up to. 'Abyss of the Deep' I see an angler fish. I think.
I notice that some of the surrounding rope wasn't there, and that blue foot prints led into the painting. I do the same.
