Chapter Nineteen: A Crack

Brianna's POV

"I'm sorry about him." Jeremy sighed, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.

"It's fine." I shrugged. I was never the type to hold a grudge. But, there are two people in this world that I will never forgive: Meagan and Dad.

"Want to go out there?" He asked, nodding to where everyone was. I nodded and then followed him out of the kitchen to, what I assume is, the living room. There were couples in the crowd of dancers that were practically getting it on in front of everyone.

I lightly swayed my hips back and forth to the beat of the music. So far I've let loose. Lets hope the rest of the night will go well.

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Jeremy eyeing me with a smile on his face. I guess I make him proud. I have came a long ways.

"I've got to use the bathroom. I'll be right back." Jeremy shouted, leaving me and trudging up the steps.

About five minutes later, Jared walked up to me. He seemed really wasted.

"Hi, Brianna." He hiccuped, putting his hand in my shoulder and putting a messy kiss to my cheek.

"Hey, Jared. How many drinks have you had?" I giggled at the swaying boy. He was clearly feeling good.

"Oh ya know! Like... this many!" He screamed excitedly, holding up his fingers. One hand seemed to have two fingers up and the other one seemed to have five up.

"Maybe you should lay off them." I suggested, sipping my own drink.

"You're not my mommy!" He squalled, stomping away. I laughed at him.

Now, ten minutes have gone by. Where in the world could Jeremy have gone? Maybe I should go find him.

I made my way to the steps and began to climb them. When I reached the hallway, I noticed there were five doors. One of them had to be the bathroom.

I pressed mu ear to the first door, hearing groaning. I cringed. I walked to the next door and pressed my ear to it. I didn't hear anything, so I opened it. I was greeted with the sight of a teenage girl violently vomiting her guts up. What an appreciated sight.

Where in the world could he be?

I checked all the rest of the rooms, and they were all empty, except one was occupied with a sleeping teenage boy with his pants halfway down and a... male part drawn on his forehead. Maybe he's in the first room...

I pressed my ear to the door again, and there was no groaning. I pushed it open slightly, making it creak. The main light was off, but a bedside table was on. I peaked my head around the corner to be met with a sight that made my heart crack.

Jeremy was laid out on the bed with Meagan on top of him, practically sucking his face off like a vacuum and her hand running up and down his thigh. His hand was on the back of her neck, encouraging her.

"J-Jeremy." It came out as a broken whimper. A single tear slid down my red cheeks.

Meagan pulled away and both of their eyes landed on me. A devious smile formed on Meagan's face and Jeremy's eyes widened in surprise.

"Brianna." Jeremy sounded astonished that I was there. He lightly pushed Meagan off him and began to get up, "I can explain, please!"

"No!" I choked out, turning and running out.
