"If you could just turn towards me" the photographer instructed as I did as I was asked. I pulled my hood up over my hair giving them a smile, the flashes of the camera slightly blinding as he snapped the pictures. "Ok that's a wrap" said the photographer as I left the white screen behind me. "Come and see these pictures" jerry said as we walked to the laptop on the side. "Wow these are good I look hot" I mused. Jerry laughed "well you certainly have appeal" he said. "Which ones are you using?" I asked, he pointed out 6 of them. "I like these, they look the best" he answered as I looked at them.

He picked the ones I had liked best, "I like them" I said smiling. "Good anyway lets head to my office and have a chat about when we can start your first single" he told me. "Really? That quickly?" I asked as we headed for the elevator. "Well we have to get the ball rolling, we want to put you out there. The world needs talent adam, I think people need to hear your voice" he told me. "I guess so" I answered absent mindedly. "Something wrong?" he asked as we sat down, "not really I just got a little distracted, its moving so fast he should be here" I answered.

"Who?" he asked, I swallowed "my fiancée" I replied. "Do you want to call her?" he asked, "him and I cant " I answered. "He?" he questioned, "yes he. Im gay and hes called tommy, that wont be an issue will it?" I asked. "Of course not we are very open minded here, it doesn't matter if your gay straight or rainbow. If you have talent you have talent, sexuality doesnt come into it please tell me more about your fiancée" he said leaning back in the chair. I debated whether to tell him or not, whether I could tell him without getting upset. It was still very much at the front of my mind, very much still painful to think about.

"I met him when I was in college, we were in the same music class. He played guitar, he was really good. I remember when I first saw him, his blonde hair short at the sides with a really long fringe that fell over his face. He had the most gorgeous eyes, deep chocolate brown with the longest lashes ever. He was shy, but when he played music he got lost in it. SO much passion for what he did" I started getting lost in my memories.

"I asked him out at the end of semester dance, I was so happy when he said yes. Once we left college we moved in together, the apartment was only small and cheap but it was something. It was all ours, we eventually upgraded to a better one. We had been together for nearly 2 years when I asked him to marry me. I proposed to him at the top of the empire state building" I continued as Jerry listened intently.

"We were going to get married next year, but then something happened. One of my exes went crazy, he wanted to be with me but I didn't want to be with him. He ran down tommy with his car, he ran him down and then he drove off. He took my beautiful fiancée away from me because he wanted me. And now he isn't here, he should be here enjoying this with me. Saying I do next year but now hes not" I finished.

Jerry was silent, shock evident on his face. "Oh adam im sorry I had no idea" he said. "Its ok its done, dwelling on it wont bring him back. I want to make him proud. As proud as I was to have him as my fiancée" I said smiling a little. "Good im glad, you will make him proud im sure of it" he told me. "Anyway that went a little awol lets discuss this album. Im excited" I said smiling.

After a few hours the meeting was over, I was starting my album in a few weeks time. I was laying on the hotel bed scrolling down my ipad, I needed to get an apartment sorted. I couldn't live where I lived when id spend most of my time here in LA. My mom was gonna freak out when I tell her, she already watches me like a hawk at home so shes going to flip when I move here. But oh well never mind im sure she'll get over it. I would have to put some things in storage of course just until I get settled.

All the rest of tommys things I would put in storage, I had it all sorted. I just needed to find an apartment, I logged onto my mobile banking luckily I had savings. Just enough to put down a deposit and buy some food, I stopped at a one bed studio apartment. The rent was only $500 per month, pretty good for LA. I emailed them asking to have a look around and then switched my ipad off and placed it on the side. I settled under the duvet my head hitting the soft pillows as I yawned and fell asleep, I would call my mom tomorrow and tell her I was moving.
