Chapter 16-
Vic's POV:
Kellin ran over to the bedroom door and locked it. He backed up slowly into me. I wrapped my arms around him but I pulled away when I got an idea. I ran quietly over to the closet. I opened a little hidden door that was on the side of it.
"What are you doing?" Kellin whispered trying to pay attention to both me and the door.
I saw the scared expression on his face as I took out a gun from the little door in the wall.
"Take it. Protect yourself." I said handing it to him.
"Vic. I can't. I-I have never used a gun before. And I have never killed anyone. I can't do it. Please don't make me do it." he rambeled on.
"It's okay Kellin. You can do this. It's gonna be okay." I said.
"No. It won't!" he got little louder.
Just then we heard a slam at the door, "I fucking know you're in there. You have 5 seconds to come out before I fucking shoot you dead." the voice said. This made me angry. The fact that someone wanted to hurt my Kellin. I hid the hole in the wall once more before walking towards the door.
"What are you doing?" Kellin asked from behind me.
"I can't hide anymore. I have to face them. They can't hurt me and I don't want them hurting you." I explained. Tears welled up in Kellin's eyes.
"But Vic-"
"Listen to me." I said grabbing him, "It's gonna be okay." I whispered, "I need you to go into the bathroom and keep the gun pointed towards the door. If you accidently shoot me it won't matte because i'm already dead." That remark made Kellin show the tinyest smile, but I saw it there.
"Okay." he said. I was just about to go to the door when Kellin spoke again.
"Vic." he said. I turned around to look at him. He walked over to me and crashed his lips into mine. I kissed him back, putting my hands on his cheeks as he ran his fingers through my hair. He pulled back and looked at me, still with his hands on my face.
"I love you." he whispered.
"I love you too." I whispered back. I pecked him on the lips one last time before he ran into the bathroom and quietly shut the door. I turned my attention towards the bedroom door, knowing that my murderers were right behind it. I felt a pit in my stomach. Even though I was already dead, I was afraid of what they could do.
I opened the door to see that there was no one there. I looked out the door to see that there indeed was a man standing there. When he saw me, I could see his eyes widen through the black ski mask. The other guy with him turned around and dropped his gun when he saw me. He picked it up and pointed it at me, his hand very shaky.
"W-what the fuck. I thought you were dead." the first guy said. I took a step closer to him as I looked up into his eyes.
"I am." I said.
"Well in that case." the other guy said, "we only have to kill one guy today." he said. I knew he was talking about Kellin.
"Don't you fucking hurt him!" I yelled to him. The first guy grabbed me by my arms and suddenly, I felt weaker. I couldn't disappear or anything. The guy holding me, turned me towards the bedroom door as the other guy walked in there. I heard muffling noises and then I heard a door open.
"No. Please don't" I heard Kellin say. I tried to struggle from the grip but I couldn't. It wa like I was alive again.
"This could have been so much easier if your friend just gave us the fucking money." the guy said to Kellin. Just then I heard a gun shot. The guy had shot Kellin in the chest and threw him onto the floor in front of me. I felt tears rush down my face as I tried to break free.
"No!" I finally broke free and ran to Kellins side. I kneeled down and looked at him. He was struggling to breathe. I wished it was so easy for him to become a ghost. It could only be done over certain rulings which I didn't know. I looked up at the guy who shot Kellin.
"I'll fucking kill you!" I screamed as I got up and dove right onto him. He hit the floor as I started punching him in the face and any other place possible. I just wanted to see him in pain. I felt the other guy grab me and pull me off of him.
"Where's the fucking money?" he yelled.
