In this first chapter there will be 3 points of view. I will try my best to separate them and not make them confusing, it will be little sections of each character's view.. Also, I am not the best at werewolf things so if I mess up my bad. I am going to write it my own way even though it's not how you would normally see one of these books written because I honestly wouldn't be able to keep up with all the rules and such.

PROLOGUE:

Addison:

We went out to celebrate the fact that we had graduated. A bit young yes I know but when you make a three year plan and keep to it strictly that's what you get. Layla wanted me to go out and meet possible dating options. I never really was interested in dating but I went out with her to please her and to stop getting tortured with all the lectures. I know she was doing this to try and help me but I really didn't find anyone intriguing or worth my time so I liked to stay single. It was better this way and I was able to focus on my studies although Layla always wanted mingle and find my 'soulmate' as she put it. Her words not mine. I was kind of nervous this particular night though and I had no idea why. I felt as if something in the air was calling for me to find a particular scent. I didn't know why because I was a witch like my father, the wolf was Layla not me so I should not be stirred by a scent in the air. I decided to ignore it until we came back to our hotel. As usual we greeted Nick but made it quick since he had a client and when I caught sight of the person I lost all my words so I just greeted Nick with a wave which he reciprocated. It was like I was attracted to the stranger on more than a physical level and I had never experienced anything like it so I quickly retreated because my mind was all jumbled up. Almost as if there was a second voice in me telling me to stay put and observe the man. To chase after him and not let him get away. Snapping out of my thoughts I realized we had reached our floor. Nobody lived or rented around us. I would have found this strange if it were for no distractions during college years that I was thankful even though I should have been more suspicious. My insides still wanted to go back down and meet the young fellow who seemed to have captivated my attention unintentionally yet it seemed like it was meant to be. Almost as if it were fate or my destiny. Nah that was crazy talk. Me and Layla entered out apartment and decided to watch a movie. We took a shower first to get rid of the sweat and makeup from going out. That reminded me Layla had drunken so much this night and it had not affected her in the slightest way. Not even her wolf seemed affected. She could probably drink the whole mini bar dry and she wouldn't be close to being tipsy or even buzzed. Just seconds after I got out of my shower someone was pounding at the door. Strange. No one ever and I mean EVER rented a room on this floor. They seemed impatient as they would not give up with the knocking and each knock seemed to be louder and faster.

Layla:

I wanted to get her out of the apartment. She needed to find her mate soon because once she turned 21 her wolf would be awaken and she would need someone from all the males wanting her or worse trying to harm or kidnap her for her royal blood status. Many suspected taht the wolf crest bloodline was still intact but as time went on they lost their hope which was good meaning Addison was safer. Her mother had been a part of the pack that I was in but what she didn't know was that her father being a powerful witch cast a spell on Addison's bracelet to prevent other witches and wolves to track the moon crest bloodline down. They all wanted to take the title as the next ruler of all the packs but only one could and that was Addison's mate. When I was younger Addison's parents had saved me from rogues when they attacked the village of my pack that killed many wolves including both my parents and for that I was forever in their debt. I was now the protector of Ad and I was supposed to guide her when the whole cloaking thing wore off so she wouldn't feel alone or confused. Since her mother had the powerful blood and her father was one of the most powerful witches she had inherited both powers but they had only told her about her witch powers and for all she knew she was human but that wasn't the case. She had real power but when she unlocked her wolf on her birthday she would be overwhelmed and her witch powers would become enhanced and more intensified. That's why it was important for her to find her mate. At the end of highschool some rogues had attacked the village once again and many of the attackers being witches defeated her father because he was concentrated on protecting Ad and her mother and not himself. Since then her mother was blind sighted and demanded revenge. She went after them without a weapon and revealed who she truly was to the rogues. No wolf has seen or heard from her since so it was up to me to make sure she was prepared for her future. Not that i minded of course we had been really close as friends and I would've became her best friend either way. We were inseparable and that helped because I was her guide with both parents gone. She had to find her mate soon and going out every Friday was my attempt to find him. A psychic had predicted that we would find them in this city so I made Ad apply to the college near here. Since her wolf was dormant and she couldn't identify her mate the bracelet would glow slightly. Humans wouldn't notice but wolves most importantly me would. I would know and I would not let them get away. As we approached the hotel a sense of disappointment washed over me. I could have sworn tonight was the night. I smelt it in the air. Her wolf was stirring from its dormant state. As we walked through the doors and we were surrounded by the familiar place we called home and greeted Nick the clergy guy I saw him. The moment I was waiting for the search was over. The bracelet glowing like a thousand fireflies in the sky it was brighter than the North Star in the clearest of nights.Okay I might be exaggerating a bit but the point is it glowed. I wasn't the only one who noticed. The stranger who was being attended by Nick immediately noticed and his body stiffened when we walked in. His wolf was on high alert in the change of air he felt with his mates presence but couldn't identify her clearly because of the cloaking spell. He would not give up I knew it and if he did I would personally make him keep looking. He was the key to unlocking everything and protecting her. He would solve everything. It was only a matter of time. We headed up the elevator a smile forming on my lips because his wolf had recongnized where the strange new scent was coming from. 'Mate' I seemed to hear him say to his two friends as they looked at him intently. He demanded to the clergyman to give him the room right in front of the girl who had just gone up the elevator. The last I saw as the the elevator doors were closing was him slipping him money but the clergy man refused. I wasn't worried because all he had to do was pay higher than what I pay every month to keep anyone from renting in the floor.

Austin:

My wolf had been uneasy today he was going crazy. I did not know what this meant I was rather very good to communicate with my wolf but today I could not tell what was unsettling him. I thought it might have been the city. He was probably not used to being in a crowded place with many humans in it and no space to run and be free. Yeah that was it what else could it be. My bodyguards or personal space invaders as I liked to call them had to accompany me to my birthday vacation with my friends which was all across he other side of the world. I had to delay my departure due to my fathers illness acting up. We left a day after but the weather conditions had been rough so we had to stay here for the time being. Thankfully my birthday wasn't until a couple of weeks but me and my friends decided that we should take a well deserved break from all the pressures of our parents of being a good leader me being alpha my other friends being beta and delta my second and third in command. It was all good but my father wanted me to marry already he wanted to see his grand pups. I was all for it but I did not want to marry with just anyone I wanted to find my mate ; my other half the piece that completed me. Call me cheesy or old school or even a hopeless romantic but I believed in being in love and all that other good stuff. Of course I wouldn't admit it to my family or friends but my friends knew I wanted to wait for her because if I married another and then found her I would drop my marriage for my mate. That's all that really mattered and when we landed in the big apple something about the city made it seem different. Something in the air was calling me and it was driving me insane. I had no idea what it was or how to make it stop. Once the two girls walked in the doors of the hotel I realized it. My mate. My mate? Which one? The wolf girl seemed to have acknowledge me but my wolf did not react when meeting eye to eye so she was not my mate. Also she claimed and I was not going to cross that line. The other women however had a captivating face that lured you in. She made it seem like there was no other girl in the world and it was just you and her. When they walked in I stiffened because I knew. She was here and she was mine. I stopped myself from going after her when I realized she was human. Confused and unable to communicate with her I just stood there staring at her walk toward the front desk. She greeted the Nick guy and he immediately waved back. My blood boiled inside of me she was MINE. I guess I must've said it aloud a little because the girl by mate heard and had a grin on her face as did my body guards. They were making fun of me in our mind link and I decided to tell them my plans and then shut them out. Nick was merciless staring at my mate his eyes roaming her body. It was clear that this Nick guy had developed a crush on my mate. I mean who wouldn't but he couldn't because she did not belong to him she belonged to me and only me. I did not let it get to me though I had to control myself and not expose myself in front of this meek human. I was determined to rent the room next to hers. He was reluctant but I managed to convince him with a few Benjamin Franklins. Pathetic this measly human was another reason why I detested humans they were easily persuaded and could be easily bought and bribed. Sad really, but what could you do. I obtained my key from him and headed up my bodyguards went to the rooms beside and in front of mind to make sure I was safe and protected. I settled in my own room before heading over to my mates room I could hear no chatter but the water running and then one stopped. It was hers how I knew I don't know but I did. I knocked patiently the first few times but as she did not answer I started to get worried and my wolf was pressuring me to mate with her already. Clearly he did not know how to behave properly and was forgetting the fact that she was human. She might not even know about Wolfs. As i heard shuffling inside the door opened hesitantly. A beauty stood in front of me, a goddess, she was better than what I had dreamt of but most importantly she was mine. A smile found its way on to my face and for the first time in my entire life I was speechless. Thankfully her friend came to the door and stared at me like she was expecting me. She pulled me in and shut the door. My mate asked what was going on and she shushed her. Even though they were friends my wolf did not appreciate my mate being shushed and he let out a low growl. This caught the attention of both girls and the friend started to laugh while my mate looked at her like she was crazy and then looked at me analyzing me to perhaps uncover what that was. What she said next caught me completely off guard. You're a wolf too aren't you she asked as it was nothing. I stared at her wide eyed very shocked at the fact that she knew. Perhaps she was a wolf? Maybe she just hid it really well?
