Julian and I walked through the doors with the nurse. She had me weigh myself, and did all the things a normal appointment would be like.
She then took me into a smaller room, where there was a bed type chair, and everything that you would need for an aultrasound.
"Okay, Peighton - sit up here and we can get started. I'll put this gel on your stomach, and then almost immediately we will be able to tell if there is a baby inside, or if not." She said.
"Okay, I'm ready."
I pulled up my shirt, and I watched as she put the gel on my stomach. I immediately grabbed Julians hand, and we just watched and waited.
