After I woke up, I picked up the peices of the smashed frame. I got rid of my robe and got dressed. I wore a red tanktop, with some black jeggings and some black lacy boots. Then I threw on some jewelry (Up top) and checked my phone. I had a text from Lee.

Hey Chloe, are you free today? My mom was working today and my dad 'wouldn't be bothered with my presence.' Yeah, I'm free. What are you thinking? I typed in and hit send. The response I got was immediate. Does 3:00 sound good to you, coffee?

*Time Skip-Time Skip-Tim*

It was 2:45 and Lee had just picked me up. I was sitting in his car listening to the radio while he was pumping gas. We were on our way to a small coffee shop owned by his Aunt Brittany. We got there and settled into a booth. I got a lemon topper donut, who cares what time it was, and a medium white chocolate caramel cappuccino.

I let out a moan as I took a bite of my delicious donut, and Lee let out a chuckle. "Mm, this is so good." I say licking my lips. He smiles at me and says, "Wait till you try the coffee." Which was currently too hot to drink. We talked for a while and eventually left, but I'd have to come back sometime.
Afterwards we got in the car and Lee said he had a surprise for me. Of course here comes the blindfold and I rolled my covered eyes. "It'd be pointless to keep the blindfold on until we are inside," Lee said, "So you can take it off now." I could hear the smile in his voice and I did as he said. I let out an excited squeal and ran towards the door, quickly pulling Lee behind me.

I ran to the front desk hearing the yippy howls, the bold barks and the quiet meows of the shelter. "Where are the dogs?" I asked the lady and she pointed towards the closest room in the hallway. "Thank you!" I said and we ran off in the direction. Truth is, last time I was here, I was with him. I braced myself before walking through the door. I looked around, avoiding one side of the room purposely.

We had found this amazing little wolf shepard mix that no one had wanted. We were in the middle of filling out the papers for our new puppy when the incident had happened.

As I walked around the room, I stuck my fingers into the cages playing with the rascals. I giggled when one bent down, butt up in the air growling before pouncing on my finger, little paws flying up. Finally I got to the cage of my almost puppy, daring a quick glance.

I gasped when I saw him sitting there, looking up at me, tail wagging. "There's my boy!" I exclaimed, smiling so wide I thought my face was going to split in half. "What?" Lee asked. My cheeks redden and I shake my head. "It's a long story." I reply. I look around for a worker to get my puppy out of the cage, and flag him down.

The puppy was put in a room with us and his little paws skittered over to me, jumping excitedly. I reach out and grab him, pulling him to my chest. Without thinking I said, "I'm adopting him." Lee gave me a surprised look at choosing so quickly, but quickly covered it up. "Are you sure?" The worker said, "This one's known for trouble." and I nod quickly,"That's alright." I say.

My chest tightened at the thought that he wasn't here with me to finish the papers like last time. I sighed, holding my puppy tightly, not wanting to give him back to the worker. (Who's name I just found out was Randy) The room was cluttered with all sorts of toys. Tennis balls, ropes, frisbees, feather sticks, yarn, and stuffed mice. Binx, we had decided, was taken away to get the chip put in, in case he was ever lost. Lee was sitting next to me in a chair smiling as I filled out the paper work.

I bought a chain collar and a blue leash, along with two white bowls. Lee took them out to the car while I took Binx. On the way back home, Binx settled into my lap and fell asleep. "Thank you," I said," For taking me out and everything." He just turned and smiled at me before pulling into the driveway. I kissed him on the cheek before clipping the collar and leash onto Binx and grabbing the bowls. Standing outside until Lee left, I waved and smiled. I wish he was here to see Binx, I thought. Oh crap, my parents.

Do you have any pets?
What kind? (or what mind do you want?)
I have a black lab, a german shepard/chow/coyote mix, a chihuahua, and a cat.
