"HEY NARUTO! YOU'RE HERE THAT'S SO COOL!" Naomi exclaims jumping around with her arms waving in the air.
"Now that I'm here, everything will be alright!" Naruto declares with his goofy grin. "You know how in the stories that the hero shows up at the last minute and kicks everybody's butt. Well that's what I'm going to do right now!"
Zabuza, Kakashi, and Sasuke aren't very thrilled about the way Naruto entered. Zabuza is sick of him, Sasuke wants him to shut up, and Kakashi thinks that attacking with the element of surprise would of gave them a key advantage. As for Haku, his eyes are opened wide under his mask as he realizes who this boy actually is, the one he met in the field with Naomi.
"You're history! Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Naruto was about to make the signs but Zabuza throws shurikens right at him. Naruto is helpless and cannot jump out of the way, but Haku throws his senbon needles to stop them. Everyone's eyes open widely as they watch the shurikens change paths, except for Naomi.
"What are you doing Naruto! You should always keep your Jutsu a secret, to keep the enemy guessing!" Kakashi explains.
Naruto begins freaking out on how he completely failed at his attack, but regains focus on the fight. Kakashi directs his attention to Haku. He has such a suspicious look in his eyes towards him, wondering why would he save Naruto.
"Haku, what are you doing?" Zabuza asks sternly.
"Zabuza, this boy, let me fight him my own way, please." Haku asks calmly.
"Bring it on!" Naruto yells.
"If you hurt a single hair on his body I'll smash you into a Zabuza and Haku pancake!" Naomi threatens as she flips out, pointing accusing fingers towards them.
Zabuza gives a curious look to Haku. "So, you want me to leave this to you, is that it Haku? As usual, you're to soft."
"Forgive me."
Naomi begins to freak out even more, that she let's out a childish shriek. Naruto can't win against this guy, he'll totally lose! Naomi steps forward to make a move, but the water clone Zabuza stops her in her tracks.
"You know the deal Naomi. If you help Naruto, I'll go after the bridge builder," the water clone informs evilly.
Naomi grabs the sides of her hair and squeezes in frustration. She crosses her arms as she thinks immensely on what to do. Helping will kill Tazuna and Sakura, but not helping could lead to serious injuries that Naomi does not wanna tend to. She looks at Sasuke inside the ice dome, sore from all the needles skinning every inch of his pale skin. She then looks to Kakashi who is stuck in the same predicament as herself, but with the real Zabuza.
"That mask, and that bogus story! You were with Zabuza all along!" Naruto exclaims pointing an accusing finger. "You think you can get away from a stunt like that?"
"I'm sorry," Haku says calmly to Naruto's surprise. "But as your sensei said, deceiving an opponent, catching them off guard, that is the art of a shinobi. Please don't take it personally."
As Haku jabbers on, Sasuke grabs his kunai, ready to attack as he is off guard. He throws it directly for his head, but Haku skillfully dodges it by leaning slightly to the back. Naruto directs his attention to the direction from which the kunai came from to see Sasuke inside.
