It was finally the third day and so I made multiple clones that then rushed off to kill all the teams that aren't from Konoha. I started walking leisurely through the forest easily ignoring the many dangerous animals as she was thinking. 'I still don't have a summoning contract, maybe I should try to earn one in my next long break' memories came back and I found out that the sound team had only just made it to the tower after attacking team 7. Noticing that I had nothing left to accomplish I decided to just go straight to the tower.
I arrived in the tower and noticed only 3 foreign teams had arrived on time, the team from Kumo whom I had helped, the sound team who ran from my clone and only just arrived on time and of course Gaara's team. Walking past the exhausted sound team, "You were very lucky, so very close to death," I whispered easily sensing the team tense. Walking up to team Guy I smiled, "You guys made it second out of the Konoha teams good job them only reason you lost to team 10 is because they specialize in tracking and survival," I explained.
"Yeah but you're a single person team and you made it all on you own and came sixth," Tenten said. "Yeah but I also stayed in the forest to wipe out the rest of the non-Konoha teams, no one not from Konoha will come in from now on," I said with confidence. Neji, Tenten and Lee looked kind of worried, "I don't want to know what you did do I," Tenten questioned, "Yes it seems you did something highly unyouthful," added Lee, "You killed them didn't you?" Neji asked. Tenten and Lee just gaped at him, "My dear sword thirsted for blood, what ever else could I do, besides they were warned," I said with a pout.
"That is highly unyouthful Yuki-san!" he exclaimed loudly, "I knew I didn't want to know," mumbled Tenten, "I was right," deadpanned Neji. "Hey it was an opportunity to legally lower opposing countries fire power!" I argued in my defense. They looked at me with deadpan expressions, "Anyway there's a training area here correct?" I asked, "Yeah there is, why?" Tenten asked. "Spar with me?" I asked my shining eyes turned onto Tenten, "Sure," she said taking a minute step backwards.
As we walked to the training area we passed the sand team and I winked at them. Soon we arrived at the training ground and I noted the cloud team had taken interest as Tenten and I walked to the center of the training ground and Tenten unsealed her sword. I immediately unsheathed the sword Tenten had helped my pick out, "That isn't the sword that thirsted for blood is it?" she asked wearily. "Hmm, nope this is the one you helped me choose the other blade is terribly dangerous," I replied taking a simple stance her doing her own kenjutsu stance. "Omoi! You will be the referee!" I barked the order authority accidently reaching my voice making him jump to obey the command.
"Begin!" he said before jumping back as Tenten and I charged each other, my moves were basic beginner abilities while Tenten showed her unique style. I barked out mistakes as we spared pointing out the flaws adding new things, refining the style. I didn't even care for the awed looks our growing audience was showing, jonin and chunin alike were watching in awe as I explained details and helped. "Your speed is slowing and your left side is often left open!" I said as the flat of my blade hit her left side. Blurring out of vision I decided to end the spar and in seconds my blade was at her throat, "You're improving," I said to Tenten who was lying on the ground panting.
"Yeah, and you can still beat me whenever you want," she said her voice breaking into pants at times. I suddenly noticed the jonin and chunin, "What are you looking at?" I questioned confused, they looked at me incredulous, "You sounded like an actual instructor and there is no way your kenjutsu is at genin level," one of the jonin said and I noticed his sword, "Your Hayate-san!" I exclaimed making him look at me in surprise, "Don't look at me like that! I asked about skilled kenjutsu users in Konoha and your name came up, I would love to try sparring sometimes but until then look after this for me," I said handing him a pendant.
"This is!" he said looking at the pendant in surprise, "Yup! I want to spar with you so I can't have you dying and that will ensure that your kept alive," I explained knowing the rest of the observers had left except for the cloud team and even Tenten had left to go get some rest. "Now Karui I believe you were originally eyeing me for a spar are you still wanting it?" I asked and before I finished asking she was shaking her head no. I pouted "Oh well a few more days and I will get to fight," I said with a sigh.
* Time Skip *
It had been two days and Team 7 and 10 have arrived, as well as that jerk Kabuto's team. So all those who passed came and gathered in front of the hokage and the team's jonin instructors. "Congratulations on passing the second exam, I will now reveal the truth behind the Chunin Selection Exams. Years ago the third shinobi war came to an end but shinobi cannot exist without bloodshed and wars and so to take that spot exams where young chunin hopefuls fought each other in battles with death always a possibility, often countries use the exams to keep track of growing strength in countries and to keep a fair amount of power between nations!" announced the hokage.
Outbursts happened all over the room, "Quiet!" the word was fiercely whispered but it held authority and silence then reigned, "The hokage was speaking and you interrupted any Konoha ninja could be accused of insubordination and executed for treason," I said and my words reached every person making them freeze and turn their attention to the hokage who motioned forward Hayate.
He coughed "Anyway due to more than expected passing the second exam there will be a preliminary exam," as expected and outburst followed until an icy aura appeared around me and ice cover the ground surrounding me. Genin surrounding me started to shiver and the outburst slowed down until it was silent. The ice instantly melted. Hayate coughed "Please raise you hand if you wish to pull out, this will not effect your team at all," Kabuto left and Naruto got angry and finally the screen appeared. The names flashed through and finally stopped.
"Sasuke Uchiha vs. Yoroi Akadō, will the rest of you vacate the floor."

As promised here is the new chapter, please check out my oneshot 'A Sequence of Changes' it isn't great but it was just a random rushed idea. I hope you like this chapter even though it is mainly a filler, the only reason Hayate got a pendant is so later you can see why the pendants allow her to protect them so well. (Plus I didn't want Yuugao to lose him)
