DEVANTE POV
It's been a rough few months for me and Sabti. I can't believe I've been so selfish all of these years. And to think, all of this could have been avoided had I just took one second just to listen to her. I don't want to leave my wife by any means, but I can't take the fact that she's in love with two men. I'll give her time to think this through, but if this Chris Clown thinks he's gonna take my wife away from me, he's got me fucked up.
The mansion I shared with Sabti has been repaired, thank God. There are two different phone lines: "D" for me (which forwards all calls to me), and "S" for Sabti (which forwards any calls to Sabti). I have a white phone and she has a green one. I picked up the phone and went through her mini phone book and found Chris' number. I knew this nigga would always answer Sabti's phone calls no matter what day or time.
Chris: Mmmmm, what's up Sabti?
Ha! See, I knew it!
Chris: ....I'm glad you came to your senses. So if you think I'm gonna sign over custody of my babies to your punk ass husband, you got me fucked up.
Me: Guess we gon' have to do this the hard way, huh?
Chris: Who the fuck is this on my woman's line?
Me: Her husband, my nigga.
Chris: You may have a ring around her finger, but I have her heart and that pussy. So what's up?
Me: You need to disappear from my family's life, that's what's up fuck boy! You have three other kids that you don't take care of, so what's so special about the babies my wife is carrying?
He grew silent. I continued.
Me: Why are you making this harder than it has to be? Just wait for Sabti to have the babies, take a DNA test and if you are the father, just sign your rights over to me and disappear!
Chris: It ain't hatinin' patna!
I hung up and let out a groan of frustration. The phone rang again and I barked angrily into it.
Me: WHAT!?
Tenese: Yo! Come to the hospital, Sabti's in labor.
I grabbed my keys, rushed to my car and made the drive to the hospital. I ran about six red lights and sped so fast the Flash would've been salty. I rushed into the hospital room and saw Sabti lying helplessly on the bed. She was sweaty, anguished and in pain.
Me: I'm here baby.
Sabti: Thank you, baby.
Me: I'm your husband, that's what I do.
ELEVEN HOURS LATER....
My baby girls were born. I mean, Sabti went threw 14 hours of labor, gave birth to the babies with no epidural and still looked good doing it. I thank God I'm not a woman right now. Taillow Pelipepper Zuniga-DeGrate, and Kakuna Kabuto Zuniga-DeGrate have come into the world. Taillow is older by one day and 25 minutes (born May 4, 2014 at 11:59pm) and Karuna followed right after (born May 5, 2014, at 12:05am)
I cried my eyes out, holding them and stroking Sabti's face at the same time. Nothing could ruin this moment......
....then Chris walked in.
AIN'T THIS BOUT A BITCH!?
