Cordell POV

So today I decided not to go to work but Lelaih did so that just left me with Sapphire, who didn't have to go to school because it was a teacher's day whatever the hell that is. I really didn't have anything planned for today until I had to go with Lelaih about these results. I really was on edge about of all it but I knew no matter what long as I had Lelaih I was good. True I wanted to have more kids but I wasn't about to be picky about how I got them.

I looked at the cock and it said it was noon. Damn we slept in too long. I got up and headed downstairs to make lunch. I knew soon Sapphire would come to me asking where the food was. At least I thought she was sleeping, she was on the couch watching some movie eating chips.

"I thought you were sleeping?"

"I was but then I got hungry and came down here to get chips."

"Well I'm about to make some lunch so give me the chips and don't tell your mom I let you have chips before you ate." She handed over the chips and I headed to kitchen. I looked at what we had and decided to make chicken tenders and fries. When I was finished I called Sapphire into the kitchen to eat.

"Daddy when is mommy coming home?"

"She said she was going to play tea party with me."

"I can play tea party with you."

"You're a boy daddy that's weird!"

"Tell me something baby girl how come you want to do more things with mommy than with me? I love that you love Lelaih so much but I thought we were a team."

"I never had a mom so I just want to spend a lot of time with her. With mommy we can do girl things, she can do my hair, and she helps me dress. I also love her because she makes you happy and she doesn't try to take you away from me. Should I not love her?"

"No, you should I was just wondering why you got so attached to her so quickly and was making sure you were okay with everything."

"I love that you are marrying her now I can have a real mom and be like all the other kids at school. She's perfect."

"So you don't love her more than me?"

"Daddy I will never love anyone more than you but mommy is up there," she cheesed. I don't know why it bothered me that Sapphire was attached to Lelaih more than me. I mean before she came it was me and Sapphire but now I had to share her and I wasn't happy. At the same time I was happy Sapphire accepted Lelaih so well and I didn't have to choose between the two. I loved them both with all my heart and there wasn't anything that could change that. I would just have to get used to sharing my baby girl with my queen.

"So when is mommy coming home?"

"Well, when she does get home we have to go somewhere to do something so you will have to go to Grace's house for a while."

"But I want to go with you!"

"You can't this is important but we will come back and get you when we are done."

"Why can't o go to grandma and grandad's?"

"Because they are out of town but when they come back you can spend the weekend with them."

"Fine but one of you still owe me a tea party," she pouted.

Lelaih POV

I had just got off of work so I could meet Cordell at home so we could go to the doctor about these results. I was so nervous I could barely do anything at work. It was like I had this thing in the pit of my stomach and nothing I did would make it go away. I wanted this to be good news but for some reason I knew nothing good ever happened to me.
