The Loud House: Nightmares

Chapter 3: Investigation

All of the sisters have gathered in the basement because Lori told them to go there for a secret family meeting.

"Why are we having a secret family meeting?" Lola ask her sisters.

"I dunno, but Lori said that this was important." Luna said. Lori walked downstairs and saw all her sisters were present.

"Good, you're all here. Now the family meeting can begin." She said. Just then, Lynn raised her hand.

"Yes Lynn?" Lori said to her.

"What about Lincoln?" Lynn said. "He's not here." All of the sisters agree that he is absent from this meeting.

"Actually, this secret family meeting is about Lincoln." Lori answered to her younger sisters.

"What did he do this time?" Lana said wanting to know along with the other sisters.

"Nothing, he's been literally doing nothing for the past two weeks." Lori said to them. "This isn't like him." All of her younger sisters took a deep thought and recalled what he has been doing.

"Maybe he's being bullied by someone." Lynn suggested.

"No, he wasn't picked on and didn't had any pain, except he was with you and you did hurt him during sports and karate." Lori said.

"Hey, I asked if he was okay, and he said he was alright." Lynn defended herself.

"Maybe he had a fight with Clyde." Luan suggested.

"No, Clyde says that he is talking to him, but he stays quiet and he thinks of something in his head." Luna said.

"Had a relationship problem with Ronnie Anne?" Leni asks.

"No, Bobby told me that Lincoln and Ronnie Anne has no problems, but Ronnie did told me that he was quiet and he asked her a question that she thinks is important." Lori said, gaining everyone's attention. All the sisters moved closer to Lori, startling her.

"What was the question?" Lana said for everyone.

*Flashback*

Lincoln and Ronnie Anne were walking to their homes from school, Lincoln was quiet and finally, Ronnie broke the silence.

"Are you okay Lincoln?" she asks her boyfriend. Lincoln was out of thoughts and came back to the real world.

"Yes, I'm okay." Lincoln replied. He didn't want to worry his girlfriend about what's bothering him, but he decided to ask her a question. "Hey Ronnie?"

"Yes Lincoln?" Ronnie said.

"How are you with your brother Bobby?" He replied.

"We get along well, why?" She said. "Is there something going on with your sisters?"

Lincoln froze, he had to think of a good answer for her.

"No....I was just wondering." He answered. The two arrived at Ronnie Anne's home and Lincoln parted ways with her.

"I'll see you later." He said to Ronnie and gave her a kiss to the cheek and then leaving. Ronnie Anne looked at Lincoln and just wishes that she could help him with whatever's been bothering him.

'I better tell Lori.' Ronnie thought. "This is important."

All of the sisters took a deep thought again and finally, someone spoke.

"Maybe it's us." All eyes were on Lucy. "Think about it, did Lincoln even argue with any of us?" Lucy continued. Everyone thought of what he has done in the past two weeks.

"Come to think of it, he didn't argue with me usually." Lola said. All eyes were at her, wanting to know what she saw of their brother's change.

"I came to his room, to tell him that I needed him to be my butler for my tea party, but to my surprise, he just went along with it." Lola answered.

"Now that you mention it, when I asked him to play sports with me, he said yes without having a reason not to play." Lynn added.

"He was laughing at my jokes and he told me that I was hilarious." Luan said.

"...." Lisa was silent.

"He didn't gave any of us any problem." Luna said.

"What is going on with him?" Lori said.

"....That's it." Lisa finally spoke.

"What's it?" Lori ask curious.

"Lincoln is doing this because he feels guilty." Lisa said. "It is possible that he had a nightmare two weeks ago last night, of all the times he messed up and he thinks that if he doesn't cause trouble for us anymore, it's an apology for us. Yet, he is still suffering with guilt."

All of the Loud sisters couldn't believe what Lisa said. They all went back to those memories and thought of what Lincoln hasn't been doing as usual.

"He hasn't been reading comics." Lana said.

"He hasn't been playing video games." Lynn added.

"He hasn't been talking to us that much." Luna added.

Now, all of the Loud sisters know what is going on with Lincoln. They have to talk to him about it. They want to see their brother happy, not pretending to be happy. They need to change him back to the brother they know and loved.

"Lori?" Lola said looking at Lori with a worried expression. "What do we do?" All eyes were on her since she is the oldest.

Lori thought of something. She didn't like it, but she wanted to help Lincoln.

"When Lincoln gets home, we will all confront him about this." She answered. All of her sisters nodded in agreement.
