First Dragons

Dragons were believed to have been read into the world. The Brothers Grimm had a special ability: Anything they read became reality. So, they created Fantasy through words, they wove a story greater than any other and spoke it into being.

The dragons were the first creatures to walk the new world. They were large beasts with broad chests and strong wings. The Brothers made them to be peacekeepers and makers, to govern the world and deliver justice and death were it was needed.

There were eight to start out: The dragons of Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Lightning, Energy, Light, and Dark. They were sisters, and they were just in their rule. They became known as The Eight.

Lady Juniper, ruler of the earth:

Juniper the Kind, governed all continents in Fantasy. She loved her forests and cherished her animals. She was a strong warrior when needed and could breathe life into her flames.

Lady Coral, ruler of the water:

Coral the Strong swam the seas, keeping peace between all her creatures of the depths. Coral ruled with an iron fist, keeping all under her care safe and disposing any that threatened her kingdom or her subjects.

Lady Wind, ruler of the air:

Wind the Protector, had a fiery protectiveness over everything in her domain. If a hunter killed a bird only for sport and not because he was on the verge of death, Wind was quick to show how she felt about that.

Lady Red, ruler of fire:

Red the Bold, lady of fire and dragon of destruction. Red had an uncontrollable temper that kicked into motion at the smallest of insults, but she was a protector of the lower creatures of Fantasy (humans, Fairies, Dwarves, and such).

Lady Strike, ruler of lightning:

Strike the Fearless, known for her ability to control Red, when it came to battles she had a nasty habit of blowing things up with her thunderbolt breaths. A warrior of renowned strength and wisdom, when a charge was organized, Strike led the attack.

Lady Buzz, ruler of energy:

Buzz the Wise, was invisible to all but her sisters. She held the ability to take life with a thought and give it back with a breath. She was a loner for fear of killing everyone, and lived a quiet life in the Silver Mountains where only the Elves kept her company.

Lady Cloud, ruler of light:

Cloud the Honest, was the first to take a rider. Cloud was found weak and on the verge of death after clashing with her sister Divine. Queen Elise of Fantasy (the first woman to rule all seven realms) found and raised Cloud, and therefore became the first Dragon Rider of Fantasy.

Lady Divine, ruler of dark:

Divine the Intelligent, was the least favorite of all her sisters among both the lesser beings of Fantasy and her own family. She was quick to react to everything, and had a temper that rivaled Red's. But she was also cunning in her reproach of things and a joke, or rumor, spread that Divine had created the fox with her sharp ways.
