This story was inspired by two books in particular:
The 'scarred hero' character was based on Blake from Beauty Touched the Beast by Skye Warren.
I really digged Phoenyx Slaughter's writing style from Asunder so I tried to use it and put my own spin on it.
While I took inspiration from these books, the stories are worlds apart. This is my own work.
