^^^ jack is such a tease wtf
Song of the Chapter: Champions by Kanye West. i get so hype when I listen to that song.
I woke up in my comfy bed, the blankets wrapped around me like a mother cradling her baby.
I blinked and sat up, checking the time. It was about 6:30pm, and I was famished. I decided to go downstairs to get some food, so I jumped off the bed. But me, being my idiotic self, stubbed my toe on the edge of my bed.
"CRAP AGH FRICK!" I hollered in pain, clutching my throbbing toe. Silently cursing, I hobbled over to my bathroom, jumping on the counter. I grabbed the band aids from inside the cabinet, violently ripping one open. Somehow my toe not only got stubbed, but I scratched it too. Blood was flowing freely down my foot. I gently placed the band-aid on top of the cut, and hobbled downstairs.
I grabbed some motrin that was left in the kitchen, and popped a pill into my mouth.
Johnson was there, sitting on the couch. I guess he didn't hear me scream.
"Hey Lily." Johnson spoke from the couch, watching a documentary on turtles.
"OOH TURTLES!" I squealed, hopping onto the couch. Johnson laughed, wrapping an arm around my waist.
I snuggled into his side, and kissed him on the cheek.
"You're too adorable." He shook his head, smiling. I blushed, burying my head into his chest.
We watched the turtle documentary for another 10 minutes, until my stomach grumbled. Oh yeah, I forgot I was hungry.
"You hungry?" He turned to me, pausing the show.
"Definitely." I licked my lips.
"What do you want for dinner?"
"I have some leftover pasta from the other night. Would you eat it?"
"Sure. Let's eat!"
I hopped off the couch, only to land right on my stubbed toe. I squealed, falling back onto the couch.
"What happened? Did you stub your toe?"
"Yeah.." I mumbled, clutching my toe. The motrin still hadn't kicked in yet.
Johnson took my injury as an excuse to carry me. He lifted me off the couch effortlessly, carrying me to the dining room. He sat me down in one of the crappy old chairs that we had, and left to go heat up the spaghetti. I tapped my fingers on the table impatiently, waiting for the food.
"Hey while you're in the kitchen, can you grab me some apple juice?" I asked Johnson, who was watching the microwave intently.
"Sure." He replied, not taking his eyes off the container of pasta that was in the microwave.
After about 5 minutes, Johnson brought two plates of hot spaghetti, the sight of it making my mouth water. He set the plates down on the table, and rushed back into the kitchen to grab our drinks.
He had ice water, and I had apple juice.
"Bon appétit!" He said, his accent proving that he could not speak French very well. I giggled at his attempt, taking a sip of my apple juice.
Without waiting for Johnson's approval, I dug in hungrily, eating almost half of my food in a minute. Johnson widened his eyes, staring at me.
"You must be really hungry." He laughed.
"You think?" I looked at him, taking another bite of my pasta. He chuckled in response.
We soon finished our meals, and I offered to take the dishes and put them in the dishwasher.
"Well what do you want to do now?" I asked him, refilling my glass with more apple juice.
"I don't know.. what do you want to do?"
"Netflix marathon?" I smirked, sipping my apple juice. He shook his head.
"No, that's boring and basic. What about.. Main Event?" (if you guys don't know what that is, it's like a giant place with arcade games, bowling, lazer tag, gravity ropes, rock climbing, lots of cool stuff. it's awesome.)
"OH MY GOSH YES!" I squealed, setting down my apple juice, "HOW DID I NOT THINK OF THAT BEFORE!"
"I'm driving!" He yelled, snatching the keys.
We walked out to the driveway and got into the Audi, Johnson smirking as the engine roared.
"I love this car.." He murmured, stroking the steering wheel.
"You're so weird." I laughed, glancing at the chair.
It was a beautiful matte, black color. I ran my hand along the rough but soft leather.
"But I'm yours." He took my hand, kissing it. I blushed.
"You're too adorable. How'd I get so lucky.." I trailed off, staring at him as he backed out of the driveway.
"I ask myself the same thing every day." He sighed, driving off to Main Event.
We got there in about 15 minutes. Jack was blasting Childish Gambino the whole time. He knows me. He turned the engine off, the AC vanishing. I hopped out of the car, the hot, stuffy air punching me in the face. Panting, I walking to the entrance.
"Wait up!" Johnson yelled, locking the car. He jogged up to me, lazily hanging his arm around my shoulders. I held onto his hand, smiling.
We entered the building, the feeling of the cool and crisp AC soothing me. I gaped at the entire place. I've been here countless times, but the atmosphere still manages to astonish me every time.
"What do you want to do first?" Jack grinned, walking up to the counter so we could get wristbands, allowing us to do whatever we wanted for the rest of the night.
I snuck 20 dollars into his wallet earlier, so it's fine.
"Bowling!" I squealed, telling the jolly man at the counter my shoe size.
"Bowling it is." He smiled, thanking the man.
"Lane number 8." The employee smiled, giving us our shoes. I noticed there was an extreme difference in size between our feet.
"You've got huge feet.." I mumbled, looking at his ginormous shoes.
"I'm totally gonna beat you." Johnson bragged cockily, entering our names into the system so we could bowl. I guess he didn't hear my comment.
"Sure you are." I rolled my eyes, putting my velcro bowling shoes on. I don't understand why they were velcro, but I didn't mind. It reminds me of my childhood.
"Alright! It's ready. I'm first." Johnson smirked, grabbing a metallic purple, blue-ish bowling ball. He rolled it, knocking down 8 pins.
"Not bad." I commented. He rolled again, knocking down the rest of the pins."
"SPARE!" He celebrated, doing a weird little dance. I giggled, grabbing a ball.
*skip to the end of bowling*
"I won!" He yelled, doing that weird little dance again. I sighed, rolling my eyes at his childishness.
"And by how much did you win?" I narrowed my eyes at him, placing a hand on my hip.
"One point.." He sighed, gazing at the floor. I snickered.
"But I still beat you!" He retorted, smiling like an idiot.
"Yeah, but I'll beat you in laser tag." I grinned, walking over to where laser tag was being played, mostly by young children.
"We'll see about that." He smirked.
