ㄴ "First sight."
"Why do I have to go to a new school !" The seventeen years old boy shouted at his parents. Even though he had already put on his uniform and the maids already had the school bag ready, he was questioning his parents. "Because I said so." His father sternly said, fixing his glasses. Jungkook looked at him in a disgusted expression. He hated his father wearing glasses, he hated glasses in general.
Those ugly glasses made people look like nerds which he hated also, and they made the person wearing, ugly. Why not just wear contacts? He'd always think whenever he saw people wearing glasses. "So annoying." He spat, rolling his eyes at his mom for not saying anything. "Mr. Lee, take him to his school." His father said to their family driver. "Yes sir." The man said and started walking to the door.
"I'll go by myself!" He snatched the school bag from one of the maid and ran out their house, one he did not really think it was. "They're so annoying. I can't wait to move out of that house!" He groaned in frustration and madly walked to his school.
After walking for what seemed like five minutes, he saw a group of boys beating up a fragile looking boy who was whimpering. "Yah! let him go!" He shouted and ran towards them. The group of boys did not move but laughed at him. "And what are you going to do?" Jungkook noticed that the boys and the guy getting beaten up, who has his face looking down and is back facing him, were from the from school as him.
"Get out of here." He started to beat them and after few beatings they scrammed out of there. Taking karate forced by parents finally came to an use. He proudly grinned and quickly got in front of the still whimpering boy. When he looked at his face, he instantly fell in love, maybe. He had never been in a relationship his whole seventeen years of life. All those stupid girls were attracted to was his looks and wealth.
But the guy had glasses on. He knew he hated glasses. He knew he hated the person wearing glasses. He knew he'd always look at them with disgust. Then, then why was the guy in front of him wearing a glasses looked so good? Weren't all people who wore glasses was supposed to look ugly and nerdy?
"Th-thank y-you for saving me there." The boy stuttered. Jungkook blinked a couple of times and stared at the boy again. "Uh, I'm Taehyung, Kim Taehyung." The boy introduced himself. "Oh, you're going to the same school as me!" Taehyung pointed to Jungkook's uniform. "Jungkook, Jeon Jungkook. Hi Jungkook." He read Jungkook's name tag.
"Jungkook?" Taehyung waved his hands. "Oh, I, sorry, what were you saying?" He snapped back and stepped back a little. "Nothing really, thank you again for saving me there." Taehyung smiled. And that was it. Jungkook knew; he had fallen in love. He had read books, some of them having the characters fall in love at first sight but he would always scoff saying it was all bullshit. Like, who falls in love at first sight?
But here he was, falling for a guy. A guy. "Why were they beating you?" Jungkook questioned, looking at the purple bruises on his beautiful face. "Because apparently I'm ugly and a nerd so they have no choice but to hate me." Jungkook was surprised. That was exactly what he thought of people with glasses. "Is it because of the glasses?" He asked.
Taehyung hummed nodding his head. "We better start walking to school." Taehyung smiled and started walking. Jungkook followed. "I think you look really good in those glasses." He thought he said that to himself but the boy had heard him and now was smiling ear to ear. "Thank you, Jungkookie." He blushed at the nickname. Who nicknames someone they've just met?
"Do you want to be friends?" Taehyung suddenly asked. "Uh, yeah. Sure." He shrugged as Taehyung clung onto his arm. "H-hey!" Taehyung just giggled ignoring Jungkook's words. "You better get used to this, if we're going to be friends. I'm very clingy." Jungkook looked stunned at the boy but smiled.
