The Elements

                         Introduction:

The four elements; wind, earth, fire, and water. They were always thought to be as the first things to exist; according to mortals.
But we, the living Elementals know this is not true. Long before they were created there was a witch guild. It held the three strong leaders of the West with powers no one could possibly imagine. Isabel, Penelope, and Theresa. Theresa was the strongest and held the biggest temperament, causing damage and striking fear into the hearts of the witches.
Desperate and afraid, Isabel and Penelope called upon the witches of the North, South, and East for guidance and on the third day they came to the agreement that Theresa was part of an evil they feared would become darker with time and she was cast out into the Abyss.
She was thrown into the darkness and shunned from the guild for 4 years, until the whispers drove her mad. Her psychological state was slipping and was quickly being replaced by a mad woman each and everyday, waiting for her to lose her mind. The loneliness overcame her and the evil and destructive persona the witches feared tore her apart and left behind a vengeful and angry woman. In her act of rage she created the four elements: Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. The Elements were made for war and were set out to destroy the witch guild in the act of revenge for Theresa.

Weak and afraid, the four guilds came together and built up an army none could defeat. They were victorious and though it caused them pain to lock their own sister up, they threw her into the pits of darkness where no one has returned once sentenced.

The elements became allies with the four guilds afterwards and vowed to protect. Earth became true allies with the North guild, Fire sided with the East, Wind went with West, and Water went with the South. Ever since then, they've had the yearly Elemental Festival, held near the Tree of Life, here all the children of the elements gathered to watch the crownings of the Elemental Knights.
