I tapped my foot the whole ride. Rob was all I could think about.

There was absolutely no traffic, and we got there within a half an hour. I paid the cabbie $78.00, plus tax. I was let off near Bass Pro Shop, and I sprinted to the stadium in my Converse.

I ran to the front gate as fast as possible. I got to the ticket desk, and I flashed my Player I.D. card; even though I wasn't a player. I snuck into the game without anyone noticing. I wove in and out of players and coaches alike, and ran down the player tube. I went into the locker room.

I texted Tom.

'Make sure Rob is first in. No one else for about ten minutes'

I heard the players clambering down the tube, the unmistakeable sound of cleats on concrete.

My heart was pounding.

BA BOOM.
BA BOOM.
BA BOOM.
BA BOOM.
BA BOOM.

I thought my heart was going to burst out of my chest.

I saw Rob's unmistakeable, 6'6" frame emerge from the tube. My heart skipped a beat.
