Luke rode my bus today, and as per usual I sat in the back and admired the way his face lit up when he laughed. I could listen to his laughter until my bones started to decay. His happiness spread like radiation, and was consumed by everyone on that bus. I gathered as much as I could, keeping that little inch of happiness tucked away for moments when I felt I couldn't go on. Darling Luke, I think you're beautiful, but my lips will never speak these undying words.
