•Two Weeks Later•
I wake up and go to Ingrids room. She's laying on the bed sleeping. Her wounds look like they are healing.
I walk in and sit on a chair next to her bed and pick up a book to read. I look at her just in time for her to scream in her sleep.
I look at her and she's shaking in her sleep. Tears are coming out of her eyes. I take her hand and place it into my hand.
"Ingrid. Honey," I say. She wakes up and looks at me with fear in her eyes.
She looks broken. "Jake." She says.
I look at her with shock, "you remember me?" I ask. She nods.
I stand and lean over the bed and kiss her like I've never kissed anyone in my life.
I pull away and she smiles. "I didn't think you would ever remember me," I say.
She stops smiling and frowns. "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I scared you," she says with tears falling down her cheeks.
"I love you Ingrid," I say.
"I love you too."
(I know that it's a short chapter. I'm sorry. I'll try harder next time. I've just been really busy lately. Bye!)
