SOPHIA

I watched him walking towards my direction. His hands are on his pockets and he smiles at me genuinely

He looks cool and handsome as always

I waved at him

"Are you sure 'bout this?" I chuckled

"Relax, okay? Dad won't eat you alive. He's nice" I assured him

He sighed and we walked inside our house

"So, mom dad this is Shawn. Shawn Mendes, my boyfriend" I said and my mom grins and my dad raised his eyebrows. I can feel Shawn's hands shaking beside me

"Good Afternoon. Maam, sir" Shawn greets my parents and my mom gave him a hand shake

"Good afternoon, dear. I'll get you some snacks" My mom says and walks to our kitchen

We sat down infront of my father.

Holy moly. He stares at us with a weird look

Okay dad. Don't scare him! I said in my mind

"So" Dad clears his throat "You're Mendes? Manny's son, i assume?" My dad asks the muffin beside me

"Yes, sir" He politely replies

"Sophia, honey. Can you help me with these?" My mom calls me from the kitchen

"Are you okay here?" I asked him

"Course" He replied and i smiled at him

I went closer to my dad

"Please be nice to him. Don't scare him a lot" I whispered and ran to our kitchen

After we prepared some snacks i went back to our living room and caught the two guys laughing

Okay...

What's happening?

"You are such a great kid. Just call me Ed" My dad says and Shawn nodded

(Not Ed Sheeran ok)

I sit beside Shawn and he beams at me

"Can i take her for a dinner tonight, Mr. Gabriels?" He asks my father

"Course. Just take her home safe and sound" My father is so amazing!

And they talked and laugh the whole afternoon. I can't help but smile everytime i see Shawn laughing with my dad

"Bye dad, mom! Be home before... who knows? I'll just text you" I said and kissed them

"Take care of her, aright?"

"You can count on Mrs. Gabriels" Shawn said and we walked to their house

I bought Aaliyah a perfume and a sweater. Its her birthday anyways

Her friends and their other relatives are here

"Omg! Thanks!" She says as i hand her my gifts. She hugged me

"Happy birthday, kid" I said

"Hey. Not a kid anymore"

"Uhmm.. yes you are" I said and giggled

"Oh.. mom's waiting for you.. Come" She says and drags me to their dining area

"Hi.. Mrs. Mendes" I greeted

"Oh, Sophia. Sweetie" She says and kisses my cheek

"This is Shawn's goody old grandparents" I laughed and hugged them

"Oh.. is she Shawn's girlfriend? She's pretty" His grandma said

All of their relatives are nice and i feel overwhelmed meeting them

They started to dance and i was laughing at Aaliyah and Shawn. Oh my god. He dances awful he better just stick with singing

Hahahaha. I laughed at my thoughts. But i love him anyway

(Oh my gosh. I can't imagine Shawn dancing! Lmao hahaha)

Shawn goes to my seat and i rolled my eyes on him signalling that i won't dance

Oh no.. i'm not gonna dance! I'm more awful than him

"Oh no.. i don't dance" I shake my head

"C'mon baby. This is fun" He pulls me i joined them

God, this is embarrassing and fun at the same time

All i did was laughing on ourselves

We sat after we get tired. This day is so great

His family is amazing.

He grabs me upstairs and leads his room

"I had so much fun" I told him and we sat on his bed

"Yeah. I dance horrendous" He says and i chuckled

"Yeah you are. I also thought you just stick with singing 'cause-.." I didn't finished what i am saying because he kissed me

"Shawn!" He just giggled

"I want to cuddle" He pulls me and we lay on his bed and cuddled

"I'll take a nap" He says and closes his eyes

He hugged me so tight that i can almost feel his heartbeat. His embrace is so warm. It felt so good

I just watched him sleep

He looked so peaceful, he is such an angel

"I will never get tired of this" I whispered "I love you, my muffin"

I said and kissed him softly on his lips
