I look at myself in my mirror in mewni and sigh, it's been a week since I last saw Marco when we said our goodbyes, it hurt me so much..the way he looked as I entered the portal, I could've sworn he was crying "Princess Star, you look so beautiful..Prince Fredrick will absolutely love you" I sigh and looked at myself again 'Yeah..but it ain't Marco' I blush and look down, I was in a big poofy dress and looked way older than I look, I turn and I'm faced with mother "Star darling cheer up, you knew this day was coming, you spent 4 years on earth what else do you want?"

What I want is to be with Marco and not here becoming Queen and marrying a guy I just met a week ago "I can't live him.." I said as I look right at mother "Star please be reasonable, your 18 and about to take my crown after your wedding, I know you won't love him now but you'll slowly will, you have your whole life to do so" I scuff and cross my arms and look at my scissors "How are you certain that I will love Fredrick if I'm in love with someone else..mother" she looked annoyed and made her way to door "Don't do something you'll regret, and before I go..good luck" as I turn back to the scissors they were gone, man mother is one step closer of me

I heard a knock and I opened it and it was Fredrick "Um..Star can we talk, and don't worry my eyes are covered" I smirked and brought him and sat on my bed "What's wrong?" He was searching for my hand and he grabbed it "I know we met a week ago and stuff, but I understand if you don't love me yet, it's okay if your hung up on an old ex or something, but I'll try my best to make you happy, I know I might look odd and weird to you, but just give me a chance" that was very sweet of him to say and I feel like a turd saying junk
"Thanks Fredrick, I'll see you in a few minutes okay" he smiles and kisses my hand "I'll be waiting" I helped him walk out and he left as he took his blindfold off

I take a deep breath and look at myself one last time before I'm married to him..as I walk I noticed something sticking out from my drawer, as I opened it I just wanted to cry, it was me and Marco when we were 14, I slowly fell to the ground and held the photo close to my heart, why is loving someone so hard to do?

I make it to the alter and I see my father and he looks happy "You look beautiful Star, just like your mother when I saw walk down the isle, I'm proud of you honey" I smile but it fades and I have my head down as we start to walk down "Star cheer up, it's your wedding day and your going to be Queen soon" dad whispers as we walked closer and closer, I was getting nervous and scared, I just wanted to go home..with Marco

"Wow, you look even beautiful Star, may I?" Fredrick asked dad to hand me over "Take very good care of her boy, she's a tough one" they share a smile and a nod and I awkwardly smiled and as the father reads on and on, it comes to the 'I do'

"Prince Fredrick of Seatopia, will you take Princess Star of Mewni to be you Wife, til death do it's parts, for sickness and health as both of you shall live?" Fredrick smiles "I do" my heart is racing and I look at him and the crowd and back at him "Star? Your answer?" I stood frozen and looked at everyone and I backed up from him and took the ring off "I'm sorry..I don't" I opened his hand and gave him the ring and kissed his cheek "Your meant for someone better than me, take care Fredrick" he smiles and hugs me "I know, I was waiting for you to stop this, good luck with the one that has your heart" we laughed a bit and I walk down and saw mother and father looked confused and I ignored it and ran out of there, all I heard were gasp and banter

When I arrived at the carriage I asked them to take me to earth, and as I we went I quickly got off and ran towards the Diaz family home..as I get there I'm breathing heavily and I'm stuck, because what if he doesn't feel the way I feel and I just broke up with Fredrick, I take a deep breath and knock on the door and his parents open and I shush them so I could surprise Marco, as I'm making my way to his room I run and tackle him to the ground and hug him tight

"Star? I thought you were getting married back home what are you doing?" I cried and held on "Marco I am home!" He chuckles and rubs my back "Welcome home Star" I smile and move up and look at him, I missed his mocha eyes and his mole that I find cute, and he's finally out of his red hoodie "Marco..I..I.." my face turned red and he shakes his head "Come here" he grabs my face and kissed me and I lost myself "I love you.." I say dream like "I love you...always will" I tackled him again and we laughed and had fun "So..your the runaway bride?" I giggled "Yeah, the guy I was going to marry was so sweet and kind, but I knew I wasn't the right one for him he knew it too" Marco nods "So..your not gonna marry anyone anymore?" I shake my head "Nope..why you ask" he smirks and holds my hand "Well, because I want to marry you, so Star will you marry me?" I screamed of joy and kissed him so much and I cried "Is that a yes?" I nod and hug him "Yes..it's a yes!" We giggle and he pulls out a beautiful ring "My grandma gave this to me before she passed away, she said find the right girl that will be there for you, and I guess she was talking about you" he slid it on my finger and I looked at it "It's so beautiful..thank you Marco" he smiled and hugged me "No problem..soon to be Mrs Diaz" we laugh and I push him gently at least I'm marrying my best friend..
