"Come on, Matt." You pleaded, stomping your feet against the floor. "You're supposed to be my friend, not my enemy. Now help me."

Matthew raised his eyebrows before taking a sip from his mug. "How am I supposed to defend you if you actually cheated on your own boyfriend with me?"

"That kiss," you began, motioning between you and him with your hand as you shook your head repeatedly, "did not mean anything! I just felt obligated to kiss you back—"

"Face it, babe. You're in love with me." Matthew shot you one of his million dollar smiles, making your cheeks heat up from embarrassment."

"Me? Never!"

Matthew laughed, shaking his head. "Whatever you say."
