"Yeah yeah, you were better than me at dancing, good job" you patted the monster's head (?) He glared at you but let you do what you were doing

"Welp," you started "sorry to cut this short for our bonding but I gotta talk to Toriel" you waved and started walking

"Is it about leaving?" You froze in your tracks, eyes wide, does he want you to.... stay? No, that won't be a possibility, now would it...?

"Uh, yes it is," you turned to face him " I have to go back to my home, you Know, I do have a village to protect and friends to meet, but I have no idea how long this journey will go on, and, I don't really know if I could actually get out of here...." you frowned when you saw him, avoiding eye contact

"But, what if you can't? Will you stay? What if your journey was useless? Will you Miss home? What-" you cut him off, which he glared at you in return

"Hey listen, if I don't take risks, I won't know what my fate will give me, so what if it was useless? Of course I'll stay, until we can find another way out, I won't give up on this" you assured him, yeah there is a possibility you can't go back home, but that doesn't mean you will give up on your goal! Your far way too determined to do that!

"Then...... I will come with you, to keep you company of course, not that I am worried you'll die there" you chuckled at this point, such a Dork

"Sure, you can come, and don't worry, I won't die on your watch" you smiled at him half jokingly and seriously

He smiled at this (finally!) "A'ight, let's go to Toriel mate" and at that you started walking towards the house to the fire place, where Toriel is happily reading with froggit and Whimsin, you called out for her "Toriel? May I speak with you?"

She looked at you, a bit worried, but happy "yes my dear?"

You looked at Migosp then at her "Toriel, remember when I asked about the Lord of this place, I wanted to ask them to get me outside of the place, I mean not that I didn't like it here, but I have duties to recover above"

She frowned a bit at this, she Knew this Moment will come, they come, they go, they die, she did not want you to die because of..... him , you had so much to live for, you were a kind soul, how she knew? She saw your fight with Migosp, you willingly danced horribly to boost his confidence, then spared him, she Knew you were a guard, not from the information you told, but how you acted around the monsters, the sword you carried around, plus when you always kept your guard up (pun intended), she knows a gurad when she sees one

After all, she was the queen, Sighing, she stood up and offered her hand to you, which you took it gracefully and both started walking, she led you under stairs, where it took you to a long purple hall way, and to a large door, it seemed like it was an exist of kind of source, but you did not question it

Looking up to her, you've noticed she has been frowning the entire way, was getting you out really that much of a deal? Or is it the lord she was afraid of? All it lead to more questions than answers, which confuses you more

"My child," this caught your attention "please be aware that there are dangerous monsters out there, and.... I do not want you to get hurt, so please my child.... be safe, and one more thing....." she trialed off

"The Lord of the underground, is king Asgore, he.... he has killed six children to get their souls, and your the eighth human to come here, and there will be alot of monsters who will come to your soul, so please my child, be safe" this confused you, eighth human? She said six souls, so he wants seven souls? But your the eighth that, doesn't make sense

"Wait Toriel.... you said I was the eighth human, did he not get enough souls if I was the eighth?"

"Ah yes, about that, the first human that had fallen down here.... their name was Chara, after they have fallen down here, my son, Asriel, had took them into our home, they had become so important to us, we had decided to adopt them, as they had no home to go to, but one day, Chara has fallen ill, they had a wish, to go to see the golden flowers from their village, but we couldn't do anything to that request, the next day.......
