Trust Is Key

-Mino POV-

I escorted Sunny out to the beautiful garden to have a little more privacy.

Sunny and I were great friends back in high school, she was the only girl Holly trusted me with.

The only reason we're out back is to catch up and hear each other clearly.

"The music is so loud in there." She said and sat beside me on the bench.

"Yeah it is. Anyways, as I was saying, I'm in love again. With another girl but don't take it the wrong way." I explained.

She nods, "I'm not. I'm very happy to hear you've moved on. What's this girls name?"

"Sora." I said proudly.

"Is she here?" She asked.

"Yeah, she's still in the restroom I believe, but Sunny I promise you she means a lot to me. I never thought I'd find someone who would understand me and accept my past."

Sunny smiled, "Good things come your way as long as you stay positive."

"And Sora has helped me remain positive."

"Ok, I need to meet this girl."

I chuckled, "You will soon, hopefully."

She got up and approached me, "Can I ask a deep question?"

"How deep?" I asked.

"It's about Holly."

I sighed, "Here we go."

She bit her lips then pouted, "Why did you tell her to take those pills?"

I nearly glared at her, "Excuse you?"

She took a step back, "You don't have to answer."

"I won't." I nearly shouted.

Sunny remained still.

I looked away, remembering that night.

I felt the tears form, "I never meant to.."

"What?"

I sniffled, "I was mad but... it was because I was scared.."

"Scared of what?" She asked softly.

Scared of her leaving...

-Flashback-

"Babe I want to go home.." Holly whined.

"Tsk. We just got here! Lighten up." I said annoyed.

"See you're drunk too. C'mon." She said and grabbed my arm.

I yanked away, "No!"

Holly got startled.

Taehyun popped up behind me, "Mino! Yo man how about another shot?"

I laughed hysterically, "Fuck yes! Gimme~"

"No!" Holly protested, "No more shots, Mino!"

I pushed her away, "Quit being such a god damn buzz kill."

She gritted her teeth and pushed me back, "I understand you're mad at me but this is not a way to cope with it!" Holly told me.

I rolled my eyes, "Whatever. Why don't you go home, I mean, you're leaving me soon anyways. So why should I care any more?"

Holly frowned, "Mino.."

"Don't Mino me, Holly. Leave me be." I said and took another shot.
